Last year my mom had a stroke and lost her ability to walk, speak or write. It was the worst year of my life to date. I had very little time and availability of beds near the city. A spot opened up at Extendicare which was the second closest place to me from oxford and highbury. It was light and day from my other viable choice. So I went all in with Extendicare. I can't believe to this day how lucky I was. They have been wonderful to me and my mom. My mom was a little hard to deal with in her condition, but she got comfortable and the entire nursing staff work so hard to make people comfortable. The two Jenns that work there can get anything done and they're so utterly welcoming and kind. Mom's nursing staff call me if there's _anything_ that changes or they're concerned about. They don't rotate staff so my mom gets to know people and they all are so bright and caring to her. A special thanks to everyone working floor 2.

Not fancy but the care is excellent and that's what my mom needs

Very nice workers, trying hard to care the best possible all the residents. Old building, new building soon 😁

The staff was very friendly and helpful It's just me I would never put a loved one in any home.

My grandmother is now living at extendacare. The facility is very clean and bright. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. I believe that she's receiving good care and seems happy now that she's getting to know some of the other residents there.

Disgusted that less than an hour after a loved one's passing, a family was told they had 24 hours to remove their loved one's belongings. Zero compassion. This, was after incredibly mediocre palliative care.

What can one say about a seniors home. Really. Nice place, but I certainly wouldn't want to live there. Staff are pleasant and seem to care and try hard.

A sense of relief for my Mother's Care compared to previous Homes. Staff is very caring including visiting family. Many inside activaties. Weekly outside activities, Malls, Beaches, Library & more for the Wheelchair bound. Cozy rooms. Doctor on site, regular visits to patients, care for medications, also for emergancies.

The staff was excellent and provided wonderful care for our mother. She enjoyed herself the last remaining days of her long and loving life here. Thank you so very much to the staff for their patience and care.
