“I've been seeing Dr. Shay for almost two years and think so highly of her. She's all the things you want in a healthcare provider: empathetic, a great listener, supportive, and sees you a whole person rather than a combination of symptoms and problems to treat. She always uses the least amount of force possible, sometimes sticking solely with soft tissue release, and never pushes me to do anything I'm not comfortable with. She has a big focus on patient education to help you understand what's going on with your body, which is really empowering. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr. Shay to friends or family. I should also add that the admin staff at Northwoods have always been kind and helpful as well. Thanks to the entire team!”

She made sure to explain the physiology and evidence-based reasoning behind what she was doing, which I really appreciated. She even showed me a couple of stretches afterward to help with ongoing back pain. Would highly recommend!”

“Dr. Peterson is an amazing chiropractor. She isn't one of those kooks that will try to convince you that chiro will fix all your problems and that you need to come in 3 times a week.
