“I cannot say enough about Dr. Cheesman and his amazing staff. I’m petrified of the Dentist, petrified! I switched to Dr. Cheesman approximately 5 years ago and he is honestly one of the most gentle Dentist’s I have ever met. He thoroughly takes the time to explain things to me and is so incredibly kind! His Dental Hygienist’s are also gentle and fantastic! His office staff is always smiling and wonderful to deal with. I cannot recommend Dr. Cheesman and the team at Essa Dental enough. Highly highly recommend!”Read moreShow less

“Karen is the most unprofessional person ever! If you don’t want your name taken to collections avoid this place! I received a letter after 1yr of going there to clean my teeth that they are taking me to collections for $55. Meanwhile I provided my insurance and husband’s insurance which should cover 100% but for some reasons, my husband’s insurance company did not cover. I asked if she could just run the bill again that it must have been an error because it works at shoppers and everywhere else. She said “ I don’t have time to sit around for 30mins waiting for insurance billing” and I asked her but you would rather take me to collections? She said yes and hung up on me. I called back and ask them to remove my name and my husband from their system and paid out of pocket. Nasty attitude and zero customer service!”Read moreShow less

“I am not usually good at the dentist, not my favourite place to hang out. I walked in anxious, but within 10 minutes of listening to the office staff and how happy the other clients were, I felt better. Once in the dentists chair, I was feeling more relaxed. Half hour later after getting my broken tooth fixed, I left feeling not stressed. The receptionist, the support staff and Dr Cheesman have a great attitude which helped relax me. I will make another appointment soon to have another tooth looked at. I am not worried about seeing this Dentist again. THANK YOU!”Read moreShow less

“Up until today I heard nothing but good experiences from this establishment, however unfortunately that changed today when my dear friend went in for a cleaning and the hygienist Catherine, made some inappropriate, insensitive and quite frankly unacceptable comments to her regarding personal information unrelated to dentistry. As well as being insensitive towards mental illness and how it manifests in everyday life ; including dental hygiene. In her words “what’s your aversion to brushing your teeth?” And telling someone “your mouth stinks like ROT” and insinuating that one will not find a partner when they have cavities. As a professional this is completely unacceptable. I have never seen my friend so distraught, I am deeply disturbed and hope that this gets rectified with the business.”Read moreShow less

“Today was my 3rd visit. Dr. Cheeseman and his staff are amazing. He explains everything he is doing. He is gentle and asks if you're ok during the process. I have high anxiety when visiting a dentist due to previous dentist being Neanderthals. But Dr. Cheeseman is so kind and professional that my visits at his office are easy on my nerves. “I have always been scared of visiting the dentist but after my recent visit with Dr. Cheeseman I have no worries. I had a quick and pain-free visit and the entire staff is so friendly. I would highly recommend visiting Dr. Cheeseman.”
