“Had a amazing Japanese Head Spa with Taigen. Taigen was wonderful the spa treatment was very relaxing I could have stayed another hour and the spa room is very calming and beautiful. Overall a wonderful experience and will do it again.”

“Got my hair done here by taigen, and my hair was completely ruined. All I wanted was a root touch up, spent 4 hours of my day getting it done to finish and look nothing different afterwards, even my friends said “I thought you were getting your hair done”, so I reached out to get it fixed and afterwards was told I should just get a bleach bath, which that is something I would never get as I like dimension. My hair came out four different colors, including orange and having my hair done blonde twice in one week completely fried, I reached out to four different salons and was quoted almost $500 for a colour correction because it was that poorly done. I then reached out to them through instagram and whoever responded to me was extremely rude and unprofessional. Highly do not recommend going to get your hair done, blonde atleast”

“I am beyond disappointed with this experience. I went in for a simple reinstall of my hair extensions and left feeling devastated. The volume of my hair is drastically reduced — it truly feels like at least half of my volume is missing. When I reached out to the salon to question this, I felt completely dismissed and gaslit. I was given multiple explanations such as placement issues and matting between my natural hair and the extensions, but none of these excuses explain the very obvious loss of hair volume. This is not just my perception — several friends and family members have asked me if I removed my extensions because the difference is that noticeable. Hair is personal, and trusting a salon with it is huge. Instead of accountability or concern, I was made to feel like what I was seeing and experiencing wasn’t real. That alone is unacceptable. At this point, this situation clearly warrants a proper correction or a refund, because what I paid for and what I received do not match. I am sharing this so others are aware and make sure to fully inspect their hair before leaving an appointment. I truly hope the salon takes responsibility and makes this right.”

“Japanese head spa with Melanie …. “Priceless” I wasn’t sure exactly what to expect when I walked in the first time but it’s definitely something that anyone who gets recurring headaches or neck pain needs to experience. It’s hard to describe but it felt like the weight of the world was washed away by the time I left. I’ve gratefully been back a few times since.”

“My daughter and I went for the Japanese Head Spa. The spa was clean and inviting. I sat by the fireplace while my daughter had her treatment. Melanie D was very professional and talked to us first and asked about our hair, scalp and other issues. Her many techniques throughout the hour was very effective and relaxing. The spa room atmosphere was so calming and the massage chair just added to the whole experience was amazing.”
