“I was referred to Michael Acheampong for rehabilitation therapy on my knee that was operated on for a meniscal problem many years ago. Michael's view was that the exercises I had been assigned by orthopaedists and physiotherapists in the past were just not appropriate. He recommended a completely different program to rebuild flexibility and to restore strength. We have only been at this for about 6 weeks so far. But I simply cannot believe how much improvement we have made. I could not be more pleased. Michael is excellent at communicating information and is very easy to work with. He has given me a completely new appreciation of how effective physiotherapy can be. I am extremely happy to have found him!”

She’s so real, never pushy or rushing the appointment, and I highly recommend her, especially for young adult women; though I can imagine she would be just as helpful for other identities. “The reception one receives, or lack thereof is appalling. Annoyance, indifference and apathy; I’ve seen more pleasantries at the morgue. A simply good morning would suffice, they seem hard pressed to even make eye contact. Without a meagre “ hello” they request payment. Transactional, non welcoming and a real shame. Their team of physicians and care givers are top notch. Perhaps a front end overhaul is required. When dealing with the ill and the most vulnerable I don’t wish to see long miserable faces upon entering.”

“I had a great experience with Michael Cheampong at Ellis Park Medical. I came to Michael with a shoulder that I hurt moving furniture and was in a fair bit of pain. Micheal quickly diagnosed the issue and established a treatment plan. Over the course of a few months, my shoulder gradually improved until I was pain free and had regained most of my strength. I'm feeling so good now I'm ready to try Crossfit (seriously)! Michael is friendly and knowledgeable and the physio sessions were challenging but fun. Highly recommend.”

“I’ve been going to this clinic for years, even before they moved to this location. I love Dr. Malek! She’s a fantastic doctor. She’s very knowledgeable, gives practical and timely advice, and genuinely cares about her patients. The receptionists are also very friendly and efficient! I have seen them deal with many challenging clients firmly and professionally. There’s an easy online system to book appointments, including for more immediate concerns. I have recommended the clinic to all of my friends, but the doctors are rarely taking new patients.”
