My visit to Elemental Spa was nothing short of elevated relaxation! We were here for a hydrotherapy session with a small group. Upon arrival we were greeted by the friendly staff, given our robes and shoes, and escorted to the change room. Miel was an extremely friendly and helpful attendant. The change rooms were a “wow” experience on their own. The lighting, choice of tile, luxurious floor to ceiling private tiled showers, and locally sourced personal care products were a nod to the care and thoughtfulness put into every detail. Once we were in the hydrotherapy area I was immediately taken to another world where I felt like the world outside was miles away and I was in a resort spa. The were ample loungers to sit on, a warm pool, cold plunge pool, and sauna. This is not your regular sauna - no detail or expense spared here, the real deal when it comes to sauna with true dry heat. If you value personal wellness, this is the place to enjoy some alone time or some tranquil time with family or friends. I can’t wait to visit again and make a ladies wellness date of it.

Such a relaxing experience from start to finish! The atmosphere was peaceful, clean, and beautifully designed, making it easy to completely unwind. The hot and cold circuits were well maintained, and there was a great spot to relax between sessions. The staff were welcoming and attentive, and everything felt thoughtfully organized. It was the perfect way to recharge and escape the busyness of everyday life. I left feeling refreshed, relaxed, and already looking forward to my next visit. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a calming, high-quality spa experience.

* First impressions weren’t great. Dirty mats at front entrance and the receptions didn’t acknowledge us right away. The first thing they said to us was “what are you names?”, so they came off a bit rude at first. The infused water at reception was delicious. The hydrotherapy itself was nice, but some changes would have made the experience better. There should be a shower by the pools to rinse off as there are only 2 in the change room and if they’re both in use when you get there, you either have to wait and lose out on your paid time in the spa or not rinse off like you’re supposed to. Lounge chairs should be reserved to ensure enough clean chairs are available together for each party. The staff wasn’t great on being on top of removing used towels from chairs so it was hard to confirm if they were taken or not. Mopping up the floors occasionally would have helped with keeping an elevated vibe. Dirty foot prints aren’t really what you wanna see. And the staff had time—they were just on their phones at the front desk. No body lotion in the change room was very disappointing. Overall, I left relaxed, but this place has room for improvement.

I recently visited Elemental Recovery Spa and overall had a great experience. The facility is beautiful, especially the change rooms, which are thoughtfully equipped with robes, towels, wet-bag storage for bathing suits, combination-lock lockers, feminine hygiene products, a Dyson blow dryer, GHD straightener, and high-quality shampoo and conditioner. The hot and cold pools offered a significant temperature contrast, which I really enjoyed, and the turmeric tea was a nice touch. I also appreciated the convenient location just off the Henday and close to local shops. A few things could elevate the experience even further. The front lobby could benefit from some music, especially since treatment rooms are nearby and conversations can carry. The first entrance to the change room is quite dark and could use better lighting. I would have liked the spa music to be louder throughout the relaxation area, and it would be amazing if the dry sauna allowed water and essential oils on the rocks. One thing we were unsure about was the etiquette around conversation versus silence, as there wasn’t much guidance provided. While I enjoyed the experience, I personally find $79 for a 2-hour weekend visit a bit expensive and would be more likely to return at that price point if it were a private experience. Overall, it’s a beautiful and well-maintained spa with excellent amenities, and I’d rate it 4/5 stars.

My friend and I recently visited Elemental Recovery Spa for their hydrotherapy experience, and it was absolutely amazing. The session included access to a hot pool, cold pool, sauna, and a relaxation rotation, and after two hours we both left feeling completely refreshed and rejuvenated. We also enjoyed the charcuterie board, which was delicious—especially the buttery green olives and fresh sourdough bread. We paired it with some of their turmeric ginger tea, which was incredibly soothing and the perfect complement to such a relaxing experience. The entire spa is gorgeous, with a peaceful atmosphere that makes it easy to unwind the moment you walk in. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful throughout our visit, making us feel comfortable and well taken care of. Considering the quality of the experience, it’s also very affordable per person. Overall, it was such a wonderful experience from start to finish, and we’ll definitely be coming back. In fact, we’re already talking about making it a monthly tradition! Highly recommend Elemental Recovery Spa to anyone looking to relax, recharge, and treat themselves.

I LOVED this place. I had been keeping up with their Instagram page and waiting for them to open and I was NOT dissapointed. They skipped no attention to detail. The whole place was beautiful and so relaxing. I did the hydrocircut this time but next time I’ll add a massage. Beautiful, clean, and relaxing. Can’t wait to come back

I love that there’s another healthy way to spend quality time with loved ones in Edmonton while also investing in your well-being. I’ll definitely be getting a membership and adding this to my wellness routine and overall quality of life. Great job, Elemental!🌱

My wife and I went with 6 other friends and did the hydrotherapy nordic spa. Fantastic little getaway in the city. Staff were friendly and accommodating. It was a perfect little social gathering. Loved the space! The little details didn't get missed and the instagram pictures don't do it justice. Would highly recommend!

From the moment we walked through the doors, the experience felt intentional, refined, and deeply calming. The staff at the front desk were warm, welcoming, and professional, and it was immediately clear that design decisions throughout the studio had been carefully considered. The showers were absolutely stunning. The curved shower wall, elegant tile work, emerald green tones, and gold fixtures created a luxurious atmosphere that felt more like a high-end wellness retreat than a typical contrast therapy space. The large rain shower heads and hand wands made the experience especially enjoyable, and the lockers themselves worked very well and felt seamless to use. The contrast therapy area itself was exceptional. The aroma of cedar and subtle essential oils created an immediate sense of calm, while the lighting, high ceilings, blacked-out mechanical elements, and soft hanging linens made the space feel warm, expansive, and relaxing. The lounge chairs were comfortable and thoughtfully spaced, each with its own table for tea or water, which made it easy to fully settle into the experience. The sauna was spacious, clean, and beautifully designed. The hot tub sizing worked very well for the flow of guests, and the cold plunge at approximately 8°C was absolutely perfect. I especially appreciated the clean architectural lines, thoughtful tile and drain work, and the intuitive flow in and out of each area. Small details elevated the experience even further — infused water at the front desk, tea with honey while relaxing between rounds, and the overall sense that this studio was designed not just for functionality, but for restoration. We left feeling rejuvenated, grounded, and genuinely excited about what this space is bringing to Edmonton. An absolutely outstanding experience.
