“This place is a sober trauma bonding hookup all inclusive resort, period. They do most activities in coed groups and they're all locked in. They develop relationships that will not get them to anything good, they are all in very vulnerable positions!!!! . My husband met a woman there, from Calgary who is also married. He stepped out of the marriage with her after they both were back in Calgary. She had also been involved with other male patients within the Ranch. Patients come out in the real world feeling they can only socialize with other addicts. Of course, since the center does not prepare them for the real world, they relapse, go back and pay more money....so yes, EHN only cares about the money and not recovery. “I went to the recovery ranch when I was 19 years old from October 3rd to mid November of 2022. I just graduated high school my counsellor Emily was hands down the greatest counsellor I have ever had in my entire life, her way of counselling honesty changed my perspective on how counsellors work and actually care for there clients and aren’t just money grabs like I felt in the past, she asked me questions that were perfect and that brought me out of my comfort zone and that ultimately gave me comfort and success later on in life. I was infatuated with very destructive life styles money and narcotics, there we’re so many cool people who I still talk to till this day that I met there, The head PF Donna sat with me for at least 2 hours when she had the time to talk about Christ with me and ultimately revived my faith in Christ, I got so many impactful talks there that shaped me into the man I am now, the staff there are such lovely friendly kind people there who will sit with you and let you tell them what’s going on with you and comfort you. It’s been nearly 3 years and I am two years clean and sober don’t I don’t think about picking up at all and through the help that the recovery ranch provided for me, and AA and NA and god and my sponsor have kept me sober I am 21 now and I am happier then ever I was able to put past trauma in the past from the tools that the recovery ranch provided. “This place is magical and honestly saved my life. The staff and counsellors are incredible and care deeply for each person. Follow the rules and go to programming and you will 100% see the benefits. “I was dismayed at first, but soon adapted. The councilors were understanding and patient. Very encouraging when I was having a rough spot. The staff went above the call of duty, even though I wasn't always receptive to the reminders and gave a couple of them a bad time. They were always patient The food was topnotch, the cooks were friendly and they accommodated as much as humanly possible. I especially enjoyed the meditation sessions and the smudging. “I just completed my treatment and came home on Saturday, May 18th. I can't say enough positive things about my stay and the experiences and relationships that I built.
