“My exam and new glasses selection was curtious, respectful, informative and fun. The young lady who received me was unbelievably cold, unwelcoming, and arrogant, like was not a paying customer but a juvenile delinquent (I’m 65) who needed to be put in the naughty boy corner. “I have been a patient with the Edworthy Vision Centre since the early 1980s,. I have never felt any need to seek a new vision care provider in all that time. It has always been a family practice, and was passed from father to son while continuing a high standard of care. As my vision changed with age they worked with me to ensure I had the glasses, contact lenses, and treatments that I needed, always with positive outcomes. A big plus for me is that the clinic is downtown about a 10mim walk from the LRT line on 7th Ave SW. You can park near your local LRT station and ride the train downtown. This is a big plus given the exorbitant parking fees and often scarce space in downtown Calgary. All things considered, I have no problem advising friends or family to seek vision care at the Edworthy Vision Centre.”Read moreShow less

“Have had a really positive experience both times I have visited! My eye exam a few months ago was extremely thorough. Dr. Gene Edworthy took the time to get to know my health history with my eyes as a new patient and didn’t rush through our appointment. The front staff afterwards was very helpful in recommending sports safety glasses brands and styles for me to check out. The second time I visited I walked in without an appointment with a pair of sunglasses bought from another company and they adjusted them for free for me to fit my face properly. “I accidentally lost one of the screws on my reading glasses at work. I came in and ask the girls for help and they were extremely helpful and fixed my glasses right away. Even more they tightened both screws for me without any charge. Thanks for saving my day!”Read moreShow less

“I walked into FYIdoctors without an appointment just to ask if they could adjust my glasses, and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. The staff were incredibly welcoming and kind. They not only adjusted my glasses perfectly but also cleaned them - and didn’t charge me anything for the service. “Absolutely phenomenal staff here! I walked in just wanting to get my glasses adjusted, and they were happy to accommodate me even though I hadn’t purchased them there. All the ladies who helped me were super professional and clearly knew exactly what they were doing. They really took the time to make sure my glasses were sitting perfectly.
