“Had my knee replaced I'm March, great improvement feels good. Good staff, very helpful. My Surgeon Dr Cogdon, Joyce and Trang are excellent.”

“I had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Nulliah at the Edmonton Bone and Joint Centre. Throughout the appointment, my concerns felt dismissed and minimized. He repeatedly hinted that I should focus on “lightening the load” on my ankle rather than fully addressing my injury concerns, which came across as insensitive and unhelpful. After learning what profession I am currently in school for, he commented that he would start using “medical terms” because people in my future profession work within the medical field. The remark felt condescending and unprofessional rather than respectful or informative. I was also simply told to get “better shoes and attend physio therapy” and informed that I was not eligible for treatment for my grade 3 ATFL rupture, without much compassion or thorough explanation. Overall, the interaction felt rude, dismissive, and lacking professionalism. The only positive part of my visit was the front desk staff, who were incredibly kind, welcoming, and professional throughout the process.”Read moreShow less

“My husband had a remarkable recovery from his hip replacement done by Dr. R. Stiegelmar. He was also very caring to us regarding a sudden medical condition that developed post operatively that was totally unrelated to the hip surgery. “Rude and dismissive staff (Val). Improper patient assessment bordering on assault. Patient history completely ignored and attempting to advocate for proper care was labeled as “aggressive”. Elevator was out of service causing injured patients to have to climb two flights of stairs to get to the clinic, and was dismissed as a common occurrence. Furthermore, displaying of extremely graphic television shows depicting hunters in Alaska disemboweling, beheading and dismembering large animals (moose and deer) was considered appropriate for the patient waiting room. Disgusting! DO BETTER! This experience was shocking to say the least. GROSSLY inappropriate for a health care setting and should be properly investigated.”Read moreShow less

“My aunt recently had her knee replaced here after years of waiting. I have no doubt that the surgery was fine, however, my aunt was in excruciating pain after and we could not get hold of any one at the clinic for support in the days that followed it fell over the weekend. We tried on Monday morning after days of suffering and the case manager was so rude, lacked any compassion and just directed us to the ER. After 10 hours in the ER, we were told to follow up with the surgeon, but there IS NO FOLLOW UP CARE available AT ALL with the surgeon. They won't even talk to her or her family. We were told that there were no surgeons even seeing patients the week after surgery. A surgeon should stand by their work and have aftercare for patients. We are now two weeks post surgery with no improvement and no support from the clinic. It has been stressful, expensive and very painful.”Read moreShow less

“Dr. Benjamin Herman is the best surgeon. He was very professional and great at his profession. My experience I had was totally 5 of 5, start to finish. In at the hospital at 06:45 hr out at 13:00hr. Fast efficient service. I would highly recommend this surgeon to any knee or hip. I am on day 2 and I am up walking around. No pain in my hip. I want to say thank you. “Dr. Dick has absolutely no bedside manor. Does not listen to his patient. I have a torn meniscus that is digging into my knee. Can barley walk. Moderate arthritis, bakers cyst. Knee pops all the time. Unstable. Have to crawl upstairs. Everything I step down it feels like a knife is jabbing into me. But because I have fibromialgia, he is blaming that. Says oh you just need physio. Not listening to me at all. Brought in a physiotherapist, and says to her infront of me that I should have never been assessed for surgery, that I should have just been assessed for therapy, that I wasted time, and he does not appreciate people who jump que. How did I jump que when the specialist said physiotherapy would not help me. Even the physiotherapist in the room said physio would not stop the bone from jabbing into me. He had me crying by the time he walked out of the room. Yep his name suits him well. This was the most unprofessional Dr I have ever seen. He needs to retire.”Read moreShow less

“I have seen some real negative reviews on Dr Nalliah. So I wanted to give a positive review. This was a appt for an issue with my foot and toe. I thought he was very professional, I like a doctor that is straight forward, he prepared me what may or may not happen when I see the orthopedic surgeon. Overall I thought he was great.
