“I have been in pain for months and months due to a sports injury. Medications for pain and inflammation have not been helping and I have continued to suffer. Edge Chiropractic and sports therapy was recommended to me by a friend. Dr Aitken took his time to evaluate me, asked me lots of questions. He then explained the impact of the injuries to all of my body. My treatment of ART was impactful. I actually slept for the first time in months with very little pain and no painkiller in my system. I look forward to working with Dr. Aitken on my road to recovery and wellness.”Read moreShow less

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Extraordinary chiropractor. Dr Aitken has been integral to helping me dig out of a huge whole - pain, tightness and weakness that progressed from affecting one limb to involving most limbs and joints in my body. Initially, the impact was on my sports (pickleball, skiing, jogging, cycling, golf), but progressed to affecting basic activities like standing, walking, house cleaning, personal hygiene. Devastating to be in my 30’s. I sought help from numerous professionals (sports med, neurology, multiple physiotherapists) before finding Dr. Aitken. He provided exquisitely precise observations of my movements and combined with his knowledge of the interconnection between the brain and body, tailored exercises for my recovery. I, in turn, provided feedback on how my body responded to the exercises. In this way we have collaborated for 15+ years (and counting) to refine my movement patterns. I am able to play again (mountain biking, skiing, hiking, pickleball) and complete simple tasks with ease. Dr Aitken saved my quality of life. I am deeply grateful.”Read moreShow less

“I went in for neck and back pain. Got a lot of talk and a very little treatment. Maybe 2 mins of the appointment he did a little adjustment to my neck, completely breezed over my back and shoulder pain didn’t even look at my back. I left crying because I was looking forward to getting some back relief. He talked about how people now a days are more hunched from being on their phone (duh…), he also said general things like “people want to try and be taller” but gave no follow up on how to do that, a lot of general statements but no solutions. No stretches, exercises. Imagine my surprise leaving the chiropractor with not 1 bone cracked, and not 1 stretch to do…The one extra star is because at least my neck was slightly adjusted..”Read moreShow less

“I’ve seen Kevin for years. Initially it was for a snowboarding injury that impacted my neck mobility. 10 years later it was rehabilitating a leg injury where I re-learned my walking stride and completed a lot of physio due to a quad tear that nearly took out my tendon. I’m a big fan of seeing Kevin to manage overall posture and alignment through active release. Highly recommended!”Read moreShow less

“Currently seeing Dr. Aitken to deal with a pinched nerve in lower back/hip. He is very knowledgeable about how musculature and bones are inter-related. The exercises he has recommended have already reduced my pain and increased my mobility after 2 days, need the discipline to stick with them and continue to improve conditioning. He takes the time to explain his diagnosis and map out the next steps to recovery. Highly recommended.”Read moreShow less

“I started going to Edge to see Dr. Aitken at someone's referral. I have not been disappointed. As an instructor of Active Release Techniques, Kevin has the knowledge and experience to help me deal with whatever I'm dealing with. Kevin pays attention to the symptoms and dealing with pain but he also tries to help you determine the cause and helps you develope ways to avoid future issues. As an athlete himself, Kevin understands the rigors of training and competing. This helps him understand what's happening to you and what needs to happen to get you back doing what you love.”Read moreShow less

“I've been seeing Dr. Aitken for at least 8 years. He is absolutely wonderful and I can't say enough great things about his treatments. Before I saw him the first time, I was wearing knee braces on both knees when I golfed. I can say with extreme confidence, that after Dr. Kevin's treatments, I've thrown away the knee braces years ago and now enjoy the ability to run, golf, cycle, and walk free of pain or discomfort. Dr. Kevin has also been able to help with me with my posture at work, has given me numerous helpful exercises to correct my bad 'posture habits'. The most recent success story was my laser treatment for my sore shoulder. After the first treatment, I felt better then I had in a long time. Dr. Kevin takes the time to get to know you. He has a genuine interest in your hobbies and sincerely wishes you well in enjoying those hobbies free of pain. I have recommended Dr. Kevin to several co-workers and will continue to recommend him.”Read moreShow less
