I would be very careful with this practitioner. Her therapeutic methods are unclear, and when enquiring about them, she reacted defensively. She displays a framed Hippocratic Oath in her office, but when asked about it as something not commonly seen, she described it as “a reminder of the power she has” over her clients. I found the response odd and unsettling. A truly safe therapist would answer questions about their methods with transparency, or at least explore them with openness and curiosity, but she consistently didn’t offer that. Her demeanour runs hot and cold, which is not conducive to a sense of safety in therapy. I did experience some improvements in the time I worked with her, which I am appreciative of, but I still don’t have a clear understanding of how we got there. Note that she advertises IFS as a modality, which she doesn’t in practice use or provide. Eda is very charming and sometimes sweet, and no doubt well versed in matters of the psyche, but after investing almost $1500 in therapy over the course of seven weeks, I wanted to begin to feel more safe over that time, not less. Therapy is inherently a vulnerable endeavour and working with someone who values providing a genuine sense of safety is paramount.

I have known Eda for some time and have always been impressed by her professionalism, integrity, and dedication to her work. She invests heavily in her education, continuously develops her skills, and genuinely cares about helping people. What stands out most is her ability to listen without judgment, communicate thoughtfully, and approach difficult situations with empathy and respect. Mental health professionals carry a tremendous responsibility, and Eda takes that responsibility seriously. Her knowledge, compassion, and commitment to ethical practice make her someone I would confidently recommend. Toronto is fortunate to have professionals like Eda who are dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of others.

If you’re looking for more than surface-level therapy, she’s the one. She’s deeply present, able to sit with grief, and guides you through meaningful inner work that actually creates lasting change.

My session with Eda was truly transformative. She created a space that felt safe, calm, and deeply supportive — allowing me to open up and explore things I hadn’t been able to before. Eda’s questions were thoughtful and her insights helped me see patterns more clearly. I left the session feeling lighter, more focused, and with practical steps I could actually apply in my daily life. I highly recommend Eda to anyone looking for genuine progress and emotional clarity.
