I have been seeing Dr. Greenspan for many years now, but rarely have to go in. Why? 1. He gets the job done right. 2. He doesn't hand you a contract you must sign stating you have to come back a dozen times , which many chiropractors do. 3. There are no unnecessary x-rays, which are a common place cash grab in some clinics. He is a refreshing professional who likes to talk- odd that some might find that a fault. Perhaps it's an indicator of the times in which we live. So, he's a bit of a traditional father figure and may chastise his male patients for their bad habits, but he always instructs.

If you have difficulty with mobility, you should see Dr. Stewart. I came to her with a muscle strain after I did the splits without any preparation. The doctor quickly helped me and got me back on my feet. He explained how to sleep and walk properly and how important it is. In general, he helped me quickly, explained in simple terms how our body works and how to walk correctly.

After losing a night of sleep due to severe back pain, I booked an appointment with Dr. Greenspan for what was described as an “initial consultation and therapy.” I expected an actual chiropractic assessment and some form of hands-on treatment. What I got instead was extremely disappointing. I was asked only a few superficial questions and then “examined” very briefly - fully clothed, standing or sitting in a T-shirt, without any physical examination of my back, without lying down, and without any palpation of my back at all. There was no chiropractic treatment in any reasonable sense of the word. Unless “therapy” now means the doctor watching me walk back and forth in a hallway for about 10 minutes. I was given some generic advice about exercises that might be useful weeks or months later, but nothing was done to address the acute pain I came in with. As a result, the visit provided no relief whatsoever, and I spent another night sleepless due to back pain. To say I’m unsatisfied would be a serious understatement. This was a waste of time and money at a moment when I genuinely needed help.

About a year and a half ago, I fell and seriously injured my back, sustaining several compression fractures of my spine. On my daughter’s recommendation, I consulted Dr. Stuart Greenspan; she is his patient and holds him in very high regard. After asking me several questions and reviewing my X-rays, doctor Greenspan told me that he would not treat me, as my fractures were too recent and too severe, and his manipulations could be dangerous. Instead, he gave me several recommendations on how to manage this type of injury and which movements I should avoid. None of the doctors who had examined me before him had offered any guidance at all—they simply stated the diagnosis. I thanked Dr. Greenspan and went to pay for the consultation, but he told me that there would be no charge, which, of course, was a very pleasant surprise. For more than a year, I was extremely careful and followed all of Dr. Greenspan advice. At one point, however, I stopped being so cautious—and was immediately punished for it, experiencing severe pain for over an hour. I have never done anything so foolish again. I continue to follow all of his advice, and since then I have not experienced any back pain. I am deeply grateful to Dr. Greenspan, because without his invaluable advice I could have ended up in a much worse situation.

While he might be a very good chiropractor, Dr. Greenspan’s ongoing vitriol against the medical profession is repetitive, not professional, and has nothing to do with why I went to see him. And his constant challenging of which tiny muscle does what also has nothing to do with my need to see a chiropractor, I went for treatment, not an education. His office manager is charming but not efficient - it takes 20 minutes after an appointment to pay and leave. Patient files seem to be filed on the floor, and Dr. Greenspan did not refer to my file again after my first visit. Shouldn’t he be keeping notes on my treatment and progress? No electronic files or billing. Good luck if he is ever audited. Again, he may be very good (I know he considers himself the best), but there are real medical conditions that he can’t cure with chiropractic and he shouldn’t pretend he can. It’s exhausting listening to the constant disparagement of medical practitioners and the challenges to identify the tiny muscles I would have no knowledge of. I did not find any of my visits in any way professional and the cramped offices are pretty much a shambles, glad he is doing good for other people.

I can assure you Dr Stuart Greenspan is THE BEST man for the job. I had been to over 8 highly rated physio's in and around Durham and the GTA before coming to him and he was the only one who helped my issue. He has the certificates and training. If you want to be fixed this is the right guy!

When my son, Stefano, suffered what initially seemed like a minor concussion, we had no idea how much it would impact his health and ability to play at a high level. As an AAA U18 player in the GTHL, getting the right treatment was critical—not just for his return to the game, but for his overall well-being. After seeing multiple doctors with no real progress, we were fortunate to find Dr. Stuart Greenspan, and I can confidently say he was the only doctor able to pinpoint the root cause of Stefano’s lingering issues. His deep expertise in sports medicine and chiropractic care, combined with his extensive knowledge of concussions and recovery protocols, made all the difference. Dr. Greenspan not only helped resolve the immediate problem but also put together a long-term plan to ensure Stefano's full recovery and continued safety in the sport he loves. His approach goes beyond just treatment—he is a strong advocate for concussion protocols and truly understands the impact these injuries can have on young athletes. I highly recommend Dr. Stuart Greenspan to any athlete dealing with concussions or sports-related injuries. His commitment to proper diagnosis, personalized care, and long-term athlete health is second to none. Thank you, Dr. Greenspan, for helping my son get back on the ice stronger and safer than ever!

He is the best chiropractor, very knowledgeable. Well versed in how the mechanics of the body coexist with one another. Solved my 4 year shoulder issue in one session. Been to several chiropractors, Dr Greenspan is the first one to actually solve the issue and explain why the problem was occurring in the first place, giving you the knowledge to prevent it from happening again in the future. Highly recommend. Also his mother at the front desk is the best.
