“I was having increasing pain that started in my left buttock and referenced down the leg to my foot. On my first visit, Dr. Shafiel identified the problem as tight fascia around my piriformis muscle. He did an intense working of the affected area followed by acupuncture. It dramatically relieved the pain. He repeated the treatment on my second visit which also helped. He has given me exercises and strategies for trying to calm the problem on an on-going basis. I strongly recommend his services for his careful attention to my description of the problem, his investigation of the source, and his on-going treatment.”
