I am extremely disappointed with my experience involving Dr. Jheeta and would strongly caution others, especially seniors and their families, before booking an appointment. I brought my father, who is in his late 80s and suffers from Dropped Head Syndrome, for what I believed would be an initial consultation and assessment. My father also has hearing loss and, having never visited a naturopath before, had no understanding of what to expect during the appointment. What concerns me most is the complete lack of transparency. At no point were the treatment options, procedures, or associated costs clearly explained before they were performed. Instead, what was supposed to be a consultation quickly turned into a brief massage, injections to the neck and shoulder area, and then the appointment was over. The real shock came when my father was told he owed $425. How can a patient provide informed consent when they are not clearly informed of the treatments being performed or the costs involved beforehand? Had my father known the charges in advance, he would have had the opportunity to decline the treatments and make an informed decision. In my opinion, this reflects a serious lack of transparency and professionalism. Seniors, particularly those who may have hearing difficulties or language barriers, deserve clear communication and full disclosure before any treatment is administered. I do not care how many years someone has been in practice if basic principles of informed consent and cost transparency are not being followed. Charging an elderly patient hundreds of dollars without clearly explaining the services and fees beforehand is unacceptable. Families seeking care for elderly loved ones should proceed with caution. If you are looking for evidence-based treatment and transparent pricing, I would recommend consulting with your family physician or other regulated healthcare professionals before pursuing expensive naturopathic treatments. This experience left me feeling that my father was taken advantage of, and I cannot recommend this clinic to others.

I have been seeing Dr Jheeta for various ailments over the years. Always professional, easy to speak to, and he will spend as much time as required to understand the reason for your visit. These days anti-ageing is a priority, so he is up to date on IV protocols for vitamin and mineral IVs, which our family uses on a regular basis.

I have been coming to this clinic for about 2 years now. i could not be more pleased with the service and treatment i have been receiving. I am more keen on the iv treatments that have been helping boost my energy and keep my vitamins up. I was never keen on taking pills everyday. would definitely recommend Dr Raj Jheeta to all.

First came to Dr. Jheeta for IV therapy which is fully covered by benefits and conveniently through direct billing, so you can walk in and out and it's a seamless experience. They are flexible, knowledgeable and understood my concerns and needs before offering several options all with education behind it.

My appointment was booked at 2:30 but I didn’t get the chance to see the doctor until 3:15. I was about to leave. Also please be aware Richmond Naturopathic charged $195 initial appointment without any further notice. I have paid $345 in total for my initial naturopath appointment.

After seeing doctor jheeta for over 10 years for my health, as well as my family’s, I feel inclined to reply to the previous 1 star review as I believe it is completely invalid, and I will state it like she did. 1. This office does not have set hours as they are appointments only! The secretary is very knowledgeable of Naturopathy and the treatments that the doctor provides, and she will answer all your questions within her scope as a receptionist. 2. I do understand how he may come across as abrupt, as his experience allows him to diagnose quickly and efficiently. Also unlike other clinics this office does not base its fee schedule on the length of your visit! Although his initial fee has increased to $150, at the time the previous review was written, initial fee was 95$ this fee schedule is one of the lowest in the city and there is NO $170 charge 3. Dr Jheeta told me all my options and made me feel very comfortable in choosing which was most affordable to me. I felt he was very understanding. The testing alone can max out most extended benefits! And his testing fees are less/same as most clinics. 4. This Naturopath has over 30years experience and is respected in his field. He has been voted the best naturopath in Richmond multiple times for a reason.

I absolutely would not recommend this clinic to anyone seeking naturopathic remedies here. Came here for TWO appointments in total, never again. I'd give this clinic 1/10 if I could. Here are the reasons why: 1. Extremely rude and impatient receptionist over the phone. It was my first time booking a naturopathic appointment and of course I would have a lot of questions. She was never accommodating over the phone. Also, she informed me they open at 10am. I showed up the next day at 10:15am one day for supplement pick up. Had to wait until 10:50am until her to show up and open the office. What a waste of a patient's time. 2. Doctor gave little effort to understanding patient's history. It was not until I tried out another naturopath that I realized how little Dr. Jheeta cared to put in the time too understand my medical history and any health problems I have had in the past, as a child and as adult, any food or environmental allergies. First meeting he talked to me for max 10 MINUTES before giving me a "supposed" conclusion and the cause of my problems. For an initial consultation fee of $170 or so, you would expect the doctor to put into more effort to understand you before making possible conclusions. The 45min consultation was really 15 min of talking and 30 min of telling me to do expensive test and supplements, which brings me to my next point. 3. Doctor was very quick and eager to max out my extended health benefits! After the 15 min talkHe very quickly proceeded to prescribing me a $400 test (which I later one did find out should normal cost around $150-$300 at other places), and a package of expensive supplements (another $200 on top). All those are after he found out I have extended health coverage through my employer. Yes it was my own fault for not asking around friends for better recommendation, and yes naturopathic treatment is never a definitive answer and can be subjective. But overall the service and how little care I received as a patient after two appointments have been extremely poor. Do not go to this clinic!

I've always been skeptical about Naturopathic practices, but I was recommended to see Dr. Jheeta because all other treatments at this point had failed me. I wanted my memory to return, I wanted out of this brain fog, and I wanted my energy back. Seems like a reasonable request, if you ask me. Most doctors had given me surface level treatments. They saw the symptoms and tried to band-aid the issue. They would simply throw drugs at me hoping that one would stick. Dr. Jheeta actually ran tests to see what the underlying issues could be. It's been a few months now of adjusting my lifestyle. My memory has returned, I can think clearly again, and my energy is back. None of those were true with my other treatments.
