When I took the glasses back and explained the situation, Rodrigo and the manager (whose name I unfortunately didn't get) were super helpful and are helping me resolve the situation. “I was extremely impressed from same day booking to check in, exam and all the staff. I booked online the same day, very easy process, I got there a bit early and was greeted with very friendly staff. I looked at some of the frames thinking they would be trying to sell me something later. Dr. Lam was extremely thorough with my exam and decided I needed to see a surgeon for my Cataracts and was referred by her. I then left with a new prescription, to my surprise no pressure but still the friendly warm staff I met earlier. I left feeling confident with the exam and will not go anywhere else.. A bit long winded however if I could give them a 10 star I would, thank you everyone!”

“About 95% of glasses do not fit my nose bridge / face (I'm still really handsome, I swear) but I was able to grab both a perfect fitting pair of sunglasses and a pair of blue light blocking eyeglasses at Bailey Nelson thanks to Cooper's help. Super efficient walk-in appointment, Cooper made finding the right pair, designing and ordering easy. Appreciate it!”

“Cooper at Kis store was so friendly and helpful. He was able to tell me which frames look best. There was no pressure whatsoever. He answered my question clearly about how to clean lenses. I love love love the frames I got. I'm still wearing the frames I got here 5 years ago! I found them very durable. Dr Mehi is really great at what she does. She's spot on getting my prescription right. She also respected my choice to skip a couple tests. I have now bought 3 pairs of glasses from here in the past 5 years. I'm so happy that each time I come, it's like that one pair of glasses was just sitting there waiting to be chosen like a relationship meant to be. I walk away feeling confident and stylish!”

“2 years ago I went to the main Street Bailey Nelson optometrist. Unfortunately it was not the best experience and they didn't get my prescription correct. Fast forward to now and I went to the Kitsilano location and it was exceptional. Not only did they understand the issues from the previous session at the other location and correct the issues. But the service staff were extremely knowledgeable about what the issues were and extremely personable as well I would recommend the Kitsilano location”

“Love the selection of glasses, styles, lens options etc. Knowledgeable front end staff who spend time with you and treat you like a human. Quick turnarounds when you order glasses, and they are patient with your fitting. I also had to go back as the screws fell out of my glasses in 2 weeks causing the lens to fall out and they were so kind about this, handled it quickly etc. Pretty location in kits, lots to do around it if you want to turn your appointment into a selfcare day too A few things to improve; 1) during my initial appt. I was not able to complete part of my test and was asked to come back a different day because the optometrist "didn't have time"....which is weird because the point of booking an appointment is to ensure they have time blocked off, and it was a standard portion of the test. Slightly inconsiderate of people's time. 2) their chairs are quite narrow, and not size inclusive to those that inhabit larger bodies as you end up with bars digging into you. Considering how your furniture affects all people, would be a step above towards true inclusion.”
