“Excellent clinic. Staff are friendly and helpful. Dr Bartlett never rushes during my visit and has provided excellent care to me. I just wish I had known about his office when my children required braces. “Dr. Bartlett treated both of my sons for their orthodontic work. He and his team did a great job, were always friendly, knowledgeable and open to addressing all of our concerns throughout treatment. Highly recommend this orthodontic office.”

“** Update to the clinic’s response: Your response deflects from the actual issue and is factually inaccurate. Your staff originally confirmed my retainers could be made from my old scans, arranged the transfer with cook street dental who had my scans that were made two weeks prior, and confirmed file compatibility. Days later, when I called to check on timeline, your manager abruptly reversed that decision, claimed that the clinic was never going to make retainers using my old scan, accused me of “arguing” for asking why, canceled my appointment where I was supposed to get new scans taken anyway, and then blocked my number to prevented me from making appointments as her punishment. The attempt to rewrite what happened in your response is quite sad. Even after being informed about how your manager chose to bully and gaslight a potential patient dealing with an urgent situation, you chose to deflect and avoid addressing the issue. I believe this reflects poorly on your business. **Original review Do not come here if you don’t want to be bullied by an orthodontist’s office. The manager here was shockingly rude, unprofessional, and unkind. After a staff member (who was very kind and sweet) helped me arrange for new retainers using old scans last week (which were successfully sent over from my old dental office), this week when I called to check on the progress, the manager retracted the offer, demanded a new scan when I am very worried that my teeth had already shifted, and when I simply asked whether I could contact my old office for a more compatible format—despite them using the same machines as I confirmed last week—she accused me of arguing. She said "We are a very busy clinic and we don't have the time for this.", referring to making my new retainers using already available scan in compatible format. She then canceled my appointment against my will. I wanted to keep my appointment because the other clinic charges more for retainers, but she hung up and blocked my number. After calling through my mom's phone, another employee picked up and confirmed that I am now banned from making appointments because the manager said so. I suppose my questions about the discrepancies between the two responses from the clinic have seriously offended her, and she seems to enjoy abusing the ultimate power to ban patients who “offend” her. All this while constantly calling me by the wrong name. This is not how a medical practice should treat anyone, let alone a patient with an emergency.”Read moreShow less

“I have been privileged to receive the services of Dr. Bartlett and his staff for several years. I am grateful for his attentive care to each specific concern I have raised, as well as his candour in exploring multiple options to meet my needs. The staff at the office are friendly and personable, and have consistently engaged with and entertained my son while he waits during my visits. The office embodies a level of service that is thoughtful, compassionate, and individualized. “We have loved our time with Dr. Bartlett and his team. They are welcoming, kind and always considerate. They take time to explain the process, ensure everything is on track and take extra steps to listen to ideas/concerns. My oldest child has had braces through Dr. B and I have personally done invisible retainers. Both have been exactly as we wanted and have had great service with Dr. B and team. We are able to schedule appointments that fit our schedule and visit the office in Sooke, or we can drive in too one of his other locations with ease. “I want to express my gratitude to Dr. Bartlett and Beth, for all they've done for my son. He went above and beyond to give him a beautiful smile. Previously, my son had seen a different Dentist, where he had unsuccessful Ortho treatment that had lasted two years. Dr. Bartlett retreated him and corrected a deep overbite and overjet. In-addition, he corrected his midline, which is notoriously difficult to correct. I've work as a Dental Hygienist for 20 years, although this not my area of expertise, I know my sons case was especially difficult. I can confidently say, he is recognized as one of the best among the local Dental professionals. “Amazing, kind Doctor. Both my kids needed Ortho work and he was wonderful. After another clinic wanted to unnecessarily put full braces on our 8 yr old for a tooth that couldn't come down, Dr. Bartlett quickly assesses what was actually needed which was a very small procedure and was very professional, ethical and is great with kids.
