“I wanted this to be a good dental experience, and the dentist may well be very skilled. My concern is with the intake and administrative process before care. I was uncomfortable with the intake forms from this dental office. The package was nine pages long (!!!!), and a LARGE part of it focused on insurance, payment responsibility, and credit card authorization before care was provided. Even with two dental insurance plans that should provide full coverage, the wording made me feel like I could still end up owing money again and again if insurance payments were delayed or disputed. I was especially concerned that the forms asked to keep my credit card details on file, including the CCV/security code, and included broad authorization to charge balances not paid by insurance with only a “courtesy” notice. Giving someone the creadit card's CCV is a big "NO, NO, NO" and even can lead to penality from your credit card company. The documents also appeared to allow use of patient images or records for “scientific and educational purposes,” not just my own care. I found the paperwork excessive, too broad, and not patient-friendly. Keeping my credit card on file under those terms was a big no for me.”Read moreShow less

“Best experience in a dental clinic! Dr. Tardif and Dr. Szyling are really kind and take the time to give you options for the procedures that need to be done. Nothing is done under pressure, we respect your budget. I have never felt so listened to and respected and not judged. The prices are reasonable as well. The staff at the reception desk as well as the dental hygienists are really kind and make the experience pleasant. There is parking at the back of the clinic. Dr. Tardif is 100% French-speaking. “Dr. Szyling provides excellent dental care….She is very knowledgeable, stays up to date on dental procedures, policies and products. Dr. Szyling is proactive in supporting oral care/advice if you are going through chemo or have any other health situation that might impact your oral health. Her staff are also helpful, friendly and welcoming. I love that there is free parking and that the office is in a renovated house making it modern, yet a comfortable environment for your dental care. They’ll even put on your choice of music during your visit! “Highly recommend just from a couple of family visits. The dental team is well organized and friendly. There was no wait time and I actually received a call from the office to ask if I wanted to come in early due to an unfortunate cancellation. There was no up-selling of services during visits either. The dentist asked pertinent questions and was extremely attentive and respectful. Everyone provided clear and concise information and there were no surprises on the billing. The front office staff followed up very professionally throughout and I was really happy to find out the office sells dental consumables (e.g., high fluoride toothpaste) at cost to clients.
