“The best chiropractor I've encountered hands down. Dana previously helped me with some lower back issues a few years ago when she worked at a local sports therapy clinic. When I recently had a flare up with my back I was disappointed to learn she didn't work there any more and after an underwhelming experience with a different chiro (at a different clinic) I discovered she was still in the area. “About 8 months ago, I had a sudden onslaught of painful sciatica. I tried various stretching exercises I found on the Internet but they didn't help so I relied on extra strength ibuprofen to ease the pain. After 4 months of this, a friend suggested that I consult a chiropractor and since Dr. Bloomquist's office was just a short walk from my home, I called her and made an appointment. Thanks to the combination of her in-office treatments and recommended stretching exercises, my sciatica pain has gradually diminished over the past several months and I am now almost back to "normal" and am no longer taking ibuprofen. “Dr. Dana Bloomquist has completely blown me away with her expertise. I have been struggling with Carpal Tunnel on and off for 10 years but this year has been particularly bad because I’ve switched careers and have had to do more massage on my clients that I am used to. “How long does it take you to walk 5 yards? 4 seconds? 6 seconds? Or perhaps 10? How about 5 minutes? Not too long ago, that is how long it would take me! A car crash that eventually led to being bed ridden and almost immobile for 2 months turned me from a skeptic to a believer of the practice of Chiropractic. The pain reached to the point where taking a single step was agonizing and for the first time in my life, I found out what the 10 feels like on the 1 to 10 pain scale. An ambulance ride to the ER, a typically apathetic ER experience, one morphine injection and zero treatment later, I somehow ended up at a clinic with a physio I had never been treated by before. He recommended Dr. Dana Bloomquist after the first visit and eventually their treatments made me walk again! Dana is fantastic at what she does. She listens, is never rushed, has a gentler approach to her treatments and is great with treating children as well. If you are on the fence about Chiropractic treatments or are wondering what they are like, please do yourself a favour and stop looking them up online because you will eventually end up at those horrible reels showing insanely dangerous body adjustments; most of which I am certain are just fake hooks! Bottomline is I can’t recommend Dana enough. I will never forget the pain I went through and I will always be grateful for the care she provided.”Read moreShow less
