“I’ve been going to Donwood Physiotherapy for a while now and I can’t say enough good things. The owner has built a great team. There are a few physios there and honestly, no matter who works on me, I always leave feeling better. They take their time, they know what they’re doing, and the treatments actually help. “This review is long overdue. In one sentence “The best physiotherapy clinic I have ever received treatment“. I first visited Donwood Physiotherapy Clinic in January 2023. I was referred to this clinic and specifically Costa Kyritsis by a family member. Costas came very highly recommended. At the time I was experiencing a very serious injury with my left shoulder and arm. I couldn’t move my arm past my waist high in any direction due to excruciating pain. I couldn’t sleep at night due to this pain. Being in pain is also very depressing since I can’t do the things I normally do. I didn’t do anything specific to cause this injury. It started slowly and it progressively got worse. This is the arm that I received two Covid vaccines on. The pain was more prominent in the area the vaccines were administered. Coincidence? Maybe. On my first visit and every appointment afterwards, I am greeted by the clinic’s very professional, helpful and pleasant Patient Care Coordinators Samantha Trimboli and Angie Antinopo. They both try to find appointments for me that fit with my schedule. On my first visit Costa did an overall assessment and I received a hands on treatment. He also offered dry needling which I had never done before. I agreed to it and what a pain relief! I have been seeing Costa since then and I can now lift my arm all the way above my shoulder and parallel to my ear. I can also move my arm in any direction without pain. I also have chronic lower back and neck pain. Costa has been treating those issues as well and I feel like I am a new person. From time to time when Costa is not available, due to his heavy schedule, I also see other physiotherapists in his clinic. Dimitri Athanasopoulos and Robert Chong. Both Robert and Dimitri are very professional, knowledgeable and provide the same service Costa provides. Always ready to help and improve my overall condition to be pain free. I have visited many physiotherapists over the years that only use various equipment and only give you exercises to do at home. No hands on treatment. Waste of my time, money and hardly any results. I recommend this clinic to anyone I hear has an issue and may need physio to improve their situation. Thank you Costa, Robert and Dimitri for all your help, professionalism, knowledge, my renewed confidence in physiotherapy and improved quality of life! “I would highly recommend Donwood Physio, I met with Dimitri regarding a pain in my knee, and I had a great experience! He was very attentive to the information I gave him, and provided a ton of different solutions and exercises to try. Additionally, he was very knowledgeable in what could be causing the pain, and quickly diagnosed me after considering all possibilities and hearing everything I had to say. It has since been almost 2 weeks since my visit, and I have seen massive improvements in my pain, and increased strength in the areas that were causing the problems. I have a lot of faith that my future appointments will continue to relieve my symptoms and get my knee back to 100%. If you are experiencing anything similar, check them out!”Read moreShow less

“I've visited my fair share of physio clinics- and none of which compare to Donwood. Costa is incredibly knowledgeable, caring and goes above and beyond for his patients. He has helped me alleviate my pains during the entirety of my pregnancy and is now treating me during my postpartum. He has also helped fix my husband's shoulder/back pain, which none of the other physio clinics could fix.
