“This place seems shady. BC MSP says checkups are free for over 65+ under public health, but my parents were still charged $50. They also didn’t provide all the prescription details, missing the main PD to get accurate prescription glasses elsewhere like online. I bet they’re also billing MSP. *Pupillary distance (PD) is the distance between the centre of your pupils and is used to centre a prescription lens accurately in your frames.*”Read moreShow less

“I had an appointment that I made 5 months or 6 months ago… they called me that I had an appointment and when I was on my my to the clinic, just had to call to confirm the time, the receptionist said that they cancelled my appointment because I didn’t call them back to confirm, I thought the call was a reminder of the upcoming appointment but they didn’t hear back from me they said and they cancelled it.. then booked me for another appointment and screwed up the dates and was my fault not paying attention with the dates when it’s critical coz I had to booked a day off to made an appointment so I pay attention to details… I repeated the dates 3 times as I always do when making appointments because it had to be booked off from work.. very unprofessional…there are other eye doctors around too, time to start switching I guess..”Read moreShow less

“Called the clinic for urgent appointment as I was suffering from severe eye infection. Receptionist told me that my eye exam is overdue and I need to get it done. I told her that I will get it done later. Right now I need help for my eye infection. She said NO, YOU DON'T HAVE A CHOICE. You need to get the full eye exam done and then we will help you with your eye infection. We charge $XXX for the eye exam. Not sure if this is what the management instructs the front desk or if it is front desk's fault. Never going back to this clinic again. I called another clinic and they took me in the same day and gave me medication without pushing me for full eye exam. LEARN TO HAVE SOME EMPATHY WITH PATIENTS.”Read moreShow less

“Do not recommend this doctor … They have started charging $20/- out of Government approval. They are fake & playing with BC Medical system & they are Fraud.
