“I visited this clinic three times around 2023. My first two visits went smoothly. I had a full check-up with X-rays, and the dentist — a young woman named Dr. Tabet— seemed pleasant initially. She informed me that I had a few cavities, and during my second visit, she filled several of them, including two located between my front teeth. However, just a few days later, one of those fillings between my front teeth came off after I flossed. Clearly, something was wrong with the work. As a result, I was left with a large, noticeable jagged gap between my 2 front teeth, which looked like I had broken front teeth. I called the office, explained the situation calmly and respectfully, and scheduled a follow-up appointment. This third visit completely changed my perception of the clinic. The dentist was suddenly cold, dismissive, and clearly annoyed with me — as if I had done something wrong when it was her work that was subpar. Her attitude and treatment towards me was like night and day. She rushed through the appointment and “refilled” the area quickly, showing visible attitude throughout. After only a few minutes, she left the room without much explanation. When I looked in the mirror, I was shocked. The filling had been done so poorly that my front teeth were now asymmetrical — one was noticeably larger and crooked. I asked the hygienist to bring the dentist back, and when I showed her the results (along with photos of how my teeth looked before), she snapped, raised her voice, and said, “That’s the best I can do,” before leaving abruptly again. I was stunned by the unprofessional behavior, lack of respect towards the clients, and poor workmanship. I regret not speaking to the office manager at the time or filing a complaint with the Ordre des dentistes, but I was in shock at the mistreatment. I immediately sought help from another dentist. The new dentist confirmed that the previous work was substandard and had to be completely redone — which I had to pay for again. I was just happy to get everything fixed and move on. I strongly advise others to do their research and look elsewhere for dental care. My experience with Centre Dentaire Aoude was deeply disappointing — from the careless work to the disrespectful treatment I received. EDIT: I did not review the wrong clinic. “The staff seems super unorganized, ive worked at dental offices as an assistant and receptionist and this place i would not come back to, i had an emergency and needed referral papers thats the only reason i had to come here because they take emergencies and the first time i ever came i was waiting to be seen for over an hour, the dentist came in all confused thinking i was there for a cavity when i clearly told the assistants i had a traumatic injury to my jaw.
