“My husband suffers from chronic pain caused by fibromyalgia, spine issues and neurological issues. He is in a moderate to severe state of pain all of the time. He was extremely nervous about trying any kind of massage as home massage usually resulted in causing him to flinch as I accidentally hit "trigger points". He was frightened about getting a real massage. I had twisted and injured my back and my husband insisted that I contact a Therapeutic Massage Therapist that he had just recently come across at a campground. I made an appointment. My husband and I went to meet Denise at her home in Douglasdale and I received a full massage session (and I convinced my hubby to try a shorter one.). It was a very cozy and professional environment. Denise helped me immensely. I could barely stand unaided and could not twist when I walked in and was in a substantial amount of pain. After the treatment I felt a LOT better and could stand up and move around on my own. The treatment was enjoyable, professional, refreshing and helpful. I would definitely recommend her service to anyone suffering from sore or tight muscles. My husband received a shorter duration massage of the upper body and not once did he flinch or jump or say ouch! Denise seemed to lightly gloss over the multiple trigger points using only enough gentle pressure to sooth the surrounding tissue. Her expertise and professionalism was readily evident. She sensed his terror and tenseness and was very reassuring and calming. She used her fingers and thumbs and at times her forearms to massage his back contours. Afterwards my husband said that he quite enjoyed the experience once he could allow himself to relax and that one particularly troublesome muscle had finally stopped hurting. He was very impressed and grateful. He said that her last name.... Angell ... is very befitting the person! If you have ever considered getting a massage .... don't be afraid. “Denises home based massage is amazing ! My first visit was almost two weeks ago and I saw improvements almost immediately. Her knowledge and expertise radiated during our Introductions and beyond into the massage room. Using various techniques from hot bags to manual manipulation in the most relaxing atmosphere. She evens incorporates a grounding plate .. bonus for us both. Between the gentle essential oil scents, calming ambiance and her ability to tune in to my needs left me very relaxed. My nighttime leg cramps along with my multiple wakes for the bathroom have disappeared since visiting Denise. Direct billing is a bonus ! Definitely will be booking again! See you in February 😊”
