“I had the pleasure of taking a beginner class under the instruction of Kate Stashko. She was outstanding. I thought the studio/clinic was clean and aesthetically pleasing. My intention for adding Pilates into my exercise regime is for spinal health and I really think it will work for my body. We wear and tear our bodies all day long. It’s a really nice way to reset. Especially with class sizes so small and personalized. Thanks to the crew at Cru;)”Read moreShow less

“Me and my wife have done separate assessments and then a combo follow-up session with Abbey and it was fantastic experience for both times! The front staff is welcoming, the space is warm and quite well lit. Makes it feel like I can relax and focus on myself. The pilates assessment and followup session were both structured to what Abbey found to be our limitations and worked with the level of physical activity we could do. It was very fun doing the session with my wife as its rare to work together in a therapeutic manner. Highly recommend Cru for pilates, assessment and treatment. I think its a new set of eyes that is great to have in Edmonton. Also, free parking, its nice to have downtown!”Read moreShow less

“I loved my experience with Robyn at Cru! I was very curious about clinical Pilates, as a Physiotherapist myself. I heard great things about this specialized approach from friends, as well as professionally and my experience did not disappoint! Robyn was extremely informative, friendly and helpful. After an in-depth assessment, she gave me specific functional exercises for home. I am looking forward to my next visit and will recommend Cru to everyone :)”Read moreShow less

“I have been taking Pilates with Kate for several months now and I love it. She makes it interesting and fun. The classes are small (max 6 people) so there is plenty of interaction with and guidance from Kate. An added bonus of the small class is that I have gotten to know and like the other students. Kate is also a physiotherapist and she was able to use clinical Pilates to solve a long-standing tendonitis issue no one else could. She was very thoughtful in designing a program that cleared up this difficult problem. Not only is Kate very effective but she is also kind and thoughtful.”Read moreShow less

“I had an excellent experience at Cru Physiotherapy and Pilates, working with Kim Gibas for a stubborn case of tennis elbow. Kim provided a clear and accurate diagnosis right from the start and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. The treatment sessions were thorough and tailored specifically to my condition. Kim developed a well‑structured exercise plan that was realistic, progressive, and easy to follow, which made a huge difference in my recovery. I appreciated how she focused not just on relieving the pain, but on addressing the root cause and preventing it from coming back. Kim is knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely invested in her patients’ outcomes. I’ve seen significant improvement and feel confident managing my elbow going forward. I would highly recommend Kim Gibas and Cru Physiotherapy and Pilates to anyone dealing with tennis elbow or looking for high‑quality physiotherapy care.”Read moreShow less

“I’ve had clinical Pilates sessions with Robyn, Abbey, and Rebecka, and my experience has been excellent. A couple of years ago, I had ACL and meniscus surgery and felt like my recovery had plateaued. I decided to try clinical Pilates to see if it could help me move forward, and it absolutely has. Since starting, I’ve noticed a real improvement in my strength and mobility, and I can genuinely feel the progress in my body. My husband and I have also been attending duo sessions together, which has been a great experience. Each session feels highly personalized, with exercises tailored to our specific needs and goals. I often feel sore the next day, but it’s that satisfying, productive kind of soreness that lets you know it’s working. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a more targeted and effective approach to physiotherapy.”Read moreShow less

“The instructor was great, and I love that the instructors all have physiotherapy qualifications. The studio was lovely. The prices are great. Unfortunately, after going for an intro class, we realized that the scheduling is not very doable - there aren't structured class schedules (such as a beginner's class that runs a couple times per week for a month or something). The class availabilities are individual and sporadic and therefore not realistic for beginning and being consistent as the classes fill up quickly. I'm sure they have a reason for doing it this way, but, especially as newbies, it just couldn't work for us despite really wanting to give it a try.”Read moreShow less
