The front staff has charged my credit card when I don’t even receive services for the last 10 months. I chose to seek therapy elsewhere after the first credit card payment issue & months later, there’s a transaction for a large amount of money Instead of the staff calling me to make me aware of the situation/mistake& to apologize She doesn’t connect with me on friday (day of charge of credit card) & waited for me to call on Monday. Extremely disappointed in the receptionist staff, it’s one of my main reasons for changing clinics in the first place. Thanks for the additional anxiety before the holidays ladies, I appreciate it.

I can’t say enough good things about Creating Solutions. If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just unsure of how to move forward, this is the place that helps you find real, practical answers. What sets them apart is their ability to truly listen and guide you toward solutions that actually work for you—not just generic advice, but strategies that fit your life, your challenges, and your goals. For me, it wasn’t just about finding answers for myself—it was about helping my children, too. As a parent, you want to do everything right, but sometimes, no matter how much love and effort you put in, things feel out of your control. Creating Solutions gave me the clarity and confidence to handle the struggles my family was facing. They helped me understand my own reactions, gave me tools to support my kids in a way that actually worked, and in the process, strengthened our relationships. I saw changes I never expected—less stress, better communication, and a sense of peace in our home that had been missing for too long. If you’re on the fence about seeking help, take the step. The support here is compassionate, insightful, and, most importantly, effective. Whether you’re looking for guidance for yourself or your family, Creating Solutions doesn’t just offer temporary relief—it equips you with lasting skills to handle whatever life throws your way.

I will be lodging a formal complaint with College of Alberta Psychologists about Brandi Smith. I had a court order PN7 (reunification therapy) Brandi did nothing to try to reunite my son & I. I did not speak to him or see him. My son & I will have to start over with a real professional psychologist as the court will not grant this PN7. If you do not want to put your child through this please find someone else.

I was a client of Creating solutions for over 10 years. There front desk, Fazia, is professional, kind and organized. Brandi, was my therapist until i moved to BC. Her guidance was/is beyond any value. I am indigenous, and she worked with me through many trauma and intergenerational issues. I am almost lost without her. I highly recommend there practice, and cannot attest to any of the other therapists, but if you are able to see her, you are in the best hands

I tried to get my foster son into therapy since February 1st. It was pending the therapist's review. On February 9th I received an email informing me it was still pending the therapists review. On February 28th I asked for an update as it should not take this long for any sort of review. No response given after this. My last email of any contact from them was from February 9th. On May 11th I received a call asking if I was still looking to have him go to therapy. I informed her that I was looking to have him go to therapy several months ago and have since looked at another place. This is inappropriate having a client waiting and not responding for over 2 months, and then out of the blue they call. With the rate of Mental Health among children its important more urgency should be given versus no response for several months. Not recommended!

I was referred to this place as they “specialize in Indigenous Counselling” yet they don’t have any indigenous counsellors. How can anyone be an “expert” by taking a few courses in indigenous awareness training to understand the dynamics of our people without living it. Until someone has lived on a reserve or served indigenous people all their lives they know nothing of our people. Very disappointed.

The waiting room is really nice and Shauna is an excellent counselor, highly recommended this clinic

SINARA DIAS · Google · 15 May 2019

I have been having sessions with Shauna for the last year. She has helped me so much after a car accident. She has done all the paperwork for lawyers and other medical professionals, and most importantly, has been dealing with my car insurance as well, which takes away all the stress and anxiety about insurances as so forth. They recently did a big renovation in the front reception and the place is very open now and the comfy, with water and coffee for clients.
