“My family and I have been coming here for years. We had always had good visits, my kids had minor repairs, simple visits, cleanings every 6 months. I loved this place. It was good to see how they treat a child during a not so smooth appointment. I’ve seen enough to know this is not the place for us anymore. Dr Pienaar was fixing two cavities for my 7 year old son. Her and Sanda hyped him up, told him if he blew up a certain amount of balloons, he could pick that amount of toys from the treasure chest. This was during the freezing needles. All went smoothly, he got to three and was told he could pick three toys after the appointment. The first tooth caused him pain, more freezing was added and they filled the second tooth while waiting for the first. When Dr Pienaar returned to the first tooth, my son again screamed in pain and cried quite a lot. Dr Pienaar continued to tell him it was numb and he wasn’t feeling any pain. My son continued to cry and say it was painful all the while still being told he wasn’t feeling pain. Dr Pienaar said she didn’t have time for this and opted for a temporary filling if he wasn’t willing to push through it and get it done at this appointment. He said he couldn’t, so the temporary filling was done. Sadly, he wasn’t told he did well, he wasn’t given much comfort because to them he wasn’t feeling pain so no big deal? Once settled and ready to leave my son asked if he could pick three toys from the treasure chest. Sanda responded "uh, no. You only did the one tooth, you don't get extra toys for that" My son held it together until the car and then apologized and cried. He said he was sorry for not finishing. I feel Sanda was rude and not compassionate. You also don't entice someone with rewards to get through a task and then punish them for something unrelated to the reward. It may seem small to someone else, but I do not appreciate shaming my son for not pushing through what he felt was pain. He got through one filling completely fine, clearly, he was experiencing something to warrant his reaction. He just had this filling done at a new clinic, same issue, after two freezing needles, my son said he felt pain. Imagine this, the dentist listened to him, tried a different area to freeze and explained the nerves could be in different places. Just like that, the tooth could be fixed without any pain. Very glad to have found someone who listened to my son and didn’t dismiss his pain. Shame on Dr Pienaar and Sandra for the way they treated a 7 year old boy. Do better!”Read moreShow less

“I love Country Park Dental office. Everyone is so friendly. Most people fear going to the Dentist but I always feel they care about my needs, checking too make sure I am comfortable during my appointment.”

“Extreme kindness and understanding. Best customer service all round from the dental specialist, hygienist, dentist, dental assistant, and front end staff. As someone who suffers from dental anxiety, I have never felt anything but kindness from everyone here. “I found Country Park Dental years ago and highly recommend them. Dr. Pienaar and Sandra are so kind and really put anyone with dental anxiety at ease! They explain everything, and constantly check in to make sure the patient is comfortable. The front desk staff are also always so kind! “Everyone is so great, accommodating, understanding and caring, after any major work done they always call and check up on you the next day make sure your good. I got some work done recently with Dr Jain and 2 different assistants and they were just the best! While you getting your teeth done they make sure your comfortable and not in pain and I have never had any discomfort or anything afterwards. “This is by far the best dentist my family has ever been to. The receptionists are so lovely and friendly. The dentist Dr Pienaar and assistant Sanda are the nicest people! I have a stress disorder and they always make me feel so calm and make me laugh. I actually look forward to going just to see them because they really do light up the room.
