“I had been suffering from severe back pain, along with a lot of tension in my neck, shoulders, upper back, and lower back for quite some time. I decided to try this acupuncture clinic after hearing about it, and honestly, I was very impressed with the results. After just my first session, I already felt a significant improvement and much of the pain and tension had gone away. The treatment was very effective, and I left feeling much more relaxed and comfortable. Dr. Hong is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and caring. She took the time to listen to my concerns, explain the treatment, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the session. You can really tell that she genuinely cares about her patients and their well-being. I highly recommend this place to anyone. “This is the first google review I write because the experience I had at this clinic was too profound not to tell. To sum up a bit about myself— I’m a 23 year old working professional as well as a part time student currently pursuing a massage diploma in TCM -Acupressure. Living independently in the last 3 years has forced me to learn how to take care of myself and explore the symptoms that my body is expressing to me. For as long as I can remember, I’ve always dealt with physical pain of some sort and emotional distress that turned into chronic ailments. Beginning to learn about Traditional Chinese Medicine and its holistic approach to understanding and healing the body has transformed my life entirely. Before this, I felt like I was living in autopilot, just focusing on the symptom (which is the Western approach) and never fully understanding the root cause of where all this discomfort began. TCM has expanded my mind to a larger realm of wisdom that cannot only be explained in words, you have to dedicate the time and patience of its’ practices to fully understand it in your body. About a month ago, I developed itchy red flair ups all over my body. Just like that, suddenly out of no where! I thought it was an allergic reaction to food (though I didn’t eat anything that abnormal) and when I went to the CLSC of course the doctors had no idea what it was. They gave their record breaking “let’s see how it is after 2 weeks and if it’s worse come back” speech and suggested only Benadryl or Claritin and I was NOT HAVING IT. Since I study TCM I thought “let me try seeing a TCM acupuncturist and see what they say” because if I’m studying this, now is my chance to discover if it actually is worth the hype while I’m under severe physical distress😅 so I found Clinic Sinosoins online after some research and decided to give them a call. Upon arrival at the clinic, I immediately felt relaxed and at ease. Like the answers were already knocking at my door and all that was left for me to do was open it. When Hong Qian and I spoke about what was happening in my body, everything she said just clicked and made sense. The flair ups were not random, but an acute symptom that arose from other chronic issues that got worse overtime. When finished my first acupuncture session, the itching stopped and the redness subdued tremendously. By the third session, my rashes and itchiness was gone completely! Where the hell would I be today if I listened to the CLSC doctor and just waited and suffered silently?! “A hidden gem for me ! I discover this place by someone close family member, after leaving so long in Montreal ! I Didn’t know there is such place of well being centre existed inside this old building. I thought first it a private apartment, and secured building. Very nice acupuncturist lady who speak Chinese, French and English. Very quick response about my appointment the same day that I call in. “I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Hong during my IVF journey. She was incredibly supportive and knowledgeable, helping me prepare for my embryo transfer with acupuncture treatments. Although she recommended starting three months in advance, I only had one month, so we did sessions twice a week. I was feeling very stressed at the time, and her treatments really helped me relax and release tension in my body. I truly believe this made a difference in my overall experience.
