<p>Comprehensive eye exams with Dr. Nicole Madden are $145, and take approximately 30 minutes. Alberta Health Care covers the cost of the eye examination if you are over 65 or under 19 years old, however<strong> as of June 1, 2025 there is a $35 co-pay for SENIOR EYE EXAMS </strong><strong>with Dr. Madden. </strong></p><p>If this is your first eye exam at our clinic please bring any Rx glasses and/or contact lenses you currently wear, as well as your Alberta Health Care card. We will offer you an intake form upon arrival.</p><p><em>Please contact us directly at (403) 252-1961 should you have any questions with regards to your appointment.</em><br></p>

“Chinook Optical is my absolute favourite optical shop. I have never gone in there and not found a pair (or several) of glasses that I don’t love. The selection is amazing. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. They know their stuff! I don’t even consider looking elsewhere. “Great glasses, excellent service and unmatched expertise. I bought glasses from Chinook Optical after suffering from different problems over the years. I did not know what to expect when I walked in but the lady who helped me first answered any questions that I had with politeness and kindness. After finding a pair of regular glasses and a pair of sunglasses, Jennifer, the optician, took my measurements with great care and quickness while still being personable, kind and extremely knowledgeable with any questions that I had. A few weeks after picking up the glasses, I needed adjustments on both of them. Jennifer and the other lady made some quick adjustments on one pair each and I was in and out within 5 minutes. These glasses have helped me academically and professionally. I know now how the right pair of glasses can elevate one's performance. The care that I received from start to finish was astonishing and it truly shows their level of commitment to serving the customer.
