“We have been having sessions with Jaimie Malcolm since the summer. Jaimie has helped us so much already in such a short time with her understanding and expertise. Helping my ASD teenage son and I work together, resolve any conflict and be able to move forward. Jaimie’s friendly and caring demeanor makes it easy to open up without feeling judged and get the help we need. Jaimie has been the first psychologist that my son has felt comfortable opening up to, Jaimie expresses interest in my son’s hobbies and jokes around with him. It’s nice to see him laugh and smile in a session. We will continue to see Jaimie into adulthood.”Read moreShow less

“Child Psychological Services and Wellness has helped our family immensely. I wasn't sure where to start on our journey as it was very overwhelming, but they were very helpful showing us the best options and paths to take. We've had both adult and child Psychological Assessments done here with very insightful recommendations upon diagnosis, and we will continue our journey with this office as they have so many helpful services and programs, especially for neurodivergent families. Melissa (owner & service provider) has been the only professional in my journey to thoroughly understand and assess, and it lead to a life affirming and life changing diagnosis allowing for appropriate treatments and lifestyle in future.”Read moreShow less

“As a necommer to Canada, who has a special needs child, I found CHild Psychological Services on the Autism Calgary webpage. After reviewing the therapists on their website and feeling comfortable with their profile, when I called the lady who answered the phone was so nice. Melissa and Sharon were nothing short of amazing and patient with my son; as parents they were patient with us too and very acomodating to our questions, and my tears. I would highly recomend them to anyone, anywhere in Canada. I drove from 45 minutes away, and their service was worth the drive. Thank you Child Psychological Services.”Read moreShow less

“Melissa and her team are fantastic! They provide all sorts of services that have met my family's needs- from psych assessments, therapy, couple's counseling, OT, and additional courses for children's development- and many others. They have a love for my children, listen to and validate our concerns, advocate hard for them, and they have my back during difficult situations. We have been going for years and they are absolutely worth the drive from calgary!”Read moreShow less

“My husband and I went to Melissa and her team at a pretty low point in our lives. Our 4-year-old son was struggling at preschool, and while we had some suspicions, we weren't sure what might be causing his problems. From the beginning, Melissa was both professional and extremely kind; she was open to all of our concerns, and reassured us about the process of getting our son assessed. With our son, her entire team was so patient and gentle. Despite being there for a psychological assessment, my little guy had a lot of fun, which I think really speaks to their ability to work with kids, especially kids with different needs. When it was time to receive his assessment, the amount of detail that Melissa collected and organized for us was wonderful. She laid out in great detail where all of her findings had come from, but even more than that, she had so many suggestions for next steps. Groups we could join both to help us and our son, places to go for more informaton, ways to get financial support, even books we could read with our son to help him understand his diagnosis too. I could not be happier to have found Melissa and her team during this incredibly difficult time. Her entire team made the process of understanding our son's unique needs so much easier for us with their care and patience, and throughout the process, they were always available to help us understand where we were at, and what we could do next. I can't recommend Child Psychological Services & Wellness enough, and truly look forward to continuing to work with them to help my son thrive now that we understand a little better how his amazing brain works.”Read moreShow less

“If you are looking for somewhere to have assessments done or finding therapy, I highly recommend Child Psychological services. My son had been struggling for a long time and had seen been seen by many, it was not until we found CPS and had his assessments done there that he started thriving again. They are very thorough in what they do, and very accommodating to help families be able to better their children’s future. My son who “hates” doctors and talking to people leaves every time with a smile and expresses enjoyment about his appointments. I definitely recommend giving them a call if you are looking into what they have to offer.”Read moreShow less
