“Only for the Brave (and the Skilled) If you like your hot springs with a side of adrenaline, this is it. The last 10km will test your suspension and your nerves. If you make it, the reward is a 5-star soak in the wild. Current Status: 3 pools, 1 broken heart (l mean, tub). One wooden tub by the river is out of commission. If you're a handy explorer, consider this your "side quest"-bring some gear and help us fix it up! Pro Tip: The riverside camping at the entrance is top-tier. “Great to have visited, but not my favorite Hot Springs. 2 hot tube pools working 1 wood leaking and filled w/ decaying fish, scum and other diseases (possibly) [Someone please fix the wood tub!] *Tubs have valves to control flow and to drain. *About 2ish hours from Harrison Drive *If you like cold plunge, it's a 2 minute want from the tubs. *Not regulated or garbage cans, pack in pack out. “Clear Creek Hot Springs is a hidden gem if you like a more natural, off-the-grid experience. Surrounded by forest, the setting is peaceful and beautiful, and the hot water is perfect for relaxing. You’ll need a 4x4 to get there, and going early is worth it—we had the place to ourselves for about 3 hours. The tubs are rustic and conditions can vary, so don’t expect a polished spa, but it’s absolutely worth it for a quiet, unique soak.”Read moreShow less

“Very beautiful and atmospheric place, definitely worth visiting. The trail leading toward this area is incredibly scenic — mountains, forest, river views, and great landscapes along the way. The drive itself is already an experience. ⚠️ Season matters a lot. We visited during snowmelt season, and the climb up the mountain was nearly impossible: • no vehicles made it up — not regular cars, not even 4x4s • the road turned into deep slush and mud • in some sections we had to drive directly along the riverbed • even on a motorcycle there was zero traction, just constant wheel spin Because of this, we couldn’t reach the hot springs themselves. This wasn’t the fault of the location — just bad timing and conditions. 👍 Good alternative if you can’t make the climb: If you can’t get up to the springs, the trip is still worth it. You can continue straight instead of going uphill: • there’s a large canyon • abandoned industrial structures • a dam about 15–20 km further along the route • plenty of amazing photo spots and scenery Final thoughts: An absolutely beautiful area and highly recommended, but best visited during a dry season. Be prepared for a very challenging climb depending on conditions. Even if you can’t reach the springs, the surrounding area alone makes the trip worthwhile.”Read moreShow less

“For beauty and nature, 10/10. There are about 6 "camping sites" here but others creatively made. The hot springs tend to stay hot even when snow is around. Only heavy rains appear to cool these tubs slightly. The hottest pool is hotter than any of the pools at the Harrison Hotsprings Resort so it's worth that for the journey alone. The only advice I'd like to share to everyone that sees this is to please be thoughtful when it comes to shitting in the woods. There are many instances of finding shit down any trail or even right in the campsites. It only takes putting some rocks on it at worst or burying it. Anyone that brings a dog up there is sure to discover them snacking on the many woodland treats present, so be aware when they lie in your bed or kiss your face.”Read moreShow less

“What an amazing place. I almost missed it. It's to the right of some creekside camp spots. There is no sign to say you are there. It was beautiful and quiet. Didn't see much in the way of trash, which was nice to see. The drive, however.... you need to be a confident driver. It's a service road, so no cars and, at the very least, an SUV. I went up in a Jeep compass, which at times felt sketchy, but to be fair, im not an experienced 4x4 driver. Make sure you have good ground clearance. I'd highly recommend a truck. It took a bit longer than expected to get there, but that was due to the rough road conditions. Still made it up and back in one day. I would definitely recommend going.”Read moreShow less

“Such a great opportunity for me to see this beautiful, relaxing area with my friends as No way to reach this area without a high ground clearance 4x4 with steep approach and exit angles. ** please pick up your garbage and pack up with yourself as there is no garbage pick up here! As we got there , we have to clean up lots of cans, bottles, left over food and diapers! Its about 40 km gravel road and about 5-7 km which needs a high clearance 4WD. If you are driving with no back up , be aware that there is no signal if you need any help. As l saw 2 families came with kids, l thought it can be helpful to give people a heads up before planning to get here with family alone.”Read moreShow less
