“Dr. Foulkes was my dentist for two years while I was at university. He used to be in Oak Bay and I followed his office out to Chatterton Way when they moved. Firstly, I want to say that he is an absolute sweetiepie. I am not dentist-anxious by any means, but it was still nice dealing with someone who was approachable and good-humoured. I have to get a lot of fillings due to having soft teeth, an they've all held up well and never hurt after the fact. His staff were also excellent, they are good communicators and are kind and patient when breaking down costs. The cleanings rarely hurt and the hygienists were thorough and informative on better ways to floss. Although I am now moving dentists because the trip out that way is just too much without the incentive of the student discount (it's a two hour round-trip on the bus), I will say his new office is absolutely beautiful. There is a great view outside of a lovely grassy hill and trees. Honestly, I am spoiled for other offices now, and that factored into my decision when choosing a new dentist closer to my home. “I had to find a new dentist as the excellent one I had been going to decided to take early retirement .I was looking for a dentist closer to home .I decided to go to Dr Faulk .I also have a great fear of dental work. “Both of the dentist's worked on my mouth over multiple visits, and did an amazing job. They were professional and accessible, explaining in detail the procedures before and during which I appreciated. Everything went smooth and I'm very happy with the results!”

“What a new experience at the dentist! I suffer from some pretty intense dental anxiety and EVERYONE on this team is phenomenal. I got such a gentle and thorough cleaning and have came back in today to start taking care of some much needed dental work. “Dr Matthew Foulkes has been my dentist for many years now. I have severe fear of needles, and have a tendency to not freeze- which means I need more freezing than normal. This means I need many injections to freeze- Dr Foulkes takes his time and ensures that I am comfortable every step of the way. It's extremely reassuring to have a dentist that is there for you 100%, not just for the needs of the appointments. I will never recommend a dentist more than him. 10/10, 5 ⭐. Not to mention the rest of the staff- they're all VERY kind, great at their jobs, and they all make you feel welcome and safe the entire time.”Read moreShow less
