“I have been going to Chappele Physio for about 6 months now, mainly for TMD and shoulder issues, and cannot sing Ambika's praises enough. I have seen a few physios in the past and there is absolutely no comparison to her skill, efficiency and compassion. I have come so far thanks to Ambika and love how many modalities she uses during treatment. I am always in the clinic for at least a full hour, and I felt comfortable after our first session as she is very personable, friendly, and easy to talk to. The receptionists are all very lovely too, they always start me out with a moist heat pack for the areas to be worked on after changing into a gown, and then Ambika comes in to check in and discuss the treatment plan for that day. She does a lot of manual manipulation which I really appreciate, it makes such a difference. She is very knowledgeable about the body and muscle groups, and as someone with a background in bodywork myself I can say that is unfortunately rare in many cases and with most practitioners I have been to. The clinic also has quite a few tools that she utilizes for pain and tension, like an ultrasound machine (not the kind you get imaging done with!), an IFC machine, and a TENS unit. All of these have been so helpful for me and I am beyond grateful to her and this clinic for finally providing the care I have so desperately needed. She really works with me and my capacity, and I don't feel overwhelmed with exercises that I cannot keep up with or that are the main focus of treatment like most physios. I am currently a year out from jaw surgery and seeing Ambika for treatment has given me hope and prepared me in a way I really needed. If you have TMD I definitely recommend Ambika above anyone else in this city, and I would (and will) see her for years to come with anything else that pops up, she's truly the best!”Read moreShow less
