Clients must inform the practitioner prior to their appointment if they are experiencing any symptoms of infectious illness or have had recent exposure to communicable illness within their household, including but not limited to fever, rash, cough, gastrointestinal symptoms, or unexplained skin lesions.
Clients are also requested to notify the practitioner if they develop or are diagnosed with a communicable illness following their appointment where there is potential risk of exposure during treatment. This allows for appropriate clinical judgement, infection control measures, and protection of all clients and practitioners. The practitioner reserves the right to reschedule or decline treatment where health and safety risks are present or disclosure requirements have not been met.
