Their reception staff are incredible…so on top of everything, patient, kind, thorough, I can’t say enough good things about them. Also Dr. Leanne Florence is beyond incredible, she will exceed your highest expectations in every way.

Amazing experience with Dr. Leanne Florence! Dr. performed trigger point massage on the affected areas after I suffered from a bulged disc in my neck. We also proceeded with ProloTherapy injections, guided by ultrasound. I experienced a very good recovery thanks to her care. Also, the prices are very down-to-earth and affordable. Highly recommend Dr. Leanne Florence!

I am grateful that this clinic was suggested by a friend! I struggle with insulin resistance and PCOS, GERD, and some other issues. I use to be in my GP's office monthly and would be treated with meds that did absolutely nothing for me. Not only that, but its not till i attended this clinic is when i learned that i have insulin resistance when my GP always told me my blood results come back fine. To give an example, normal person's numbers supposed to be no higher than 45 (thats just my understanding) mine were 135! i was always feeling tired, sick, from all of the conditions and not knowing for sure what was wrong. How silly is it to be insulin resistant and be told that symptoms come from PCOS which is not a treatable condition -_- Then, suddenly i began to loose my hair in chunks (im in my early 30s) just chunks! half my head was bold. My GP said she has no idea why, blood work came back fine. My dermatologist had no idea why and dismissed me with no treatment plan. Endocrinologist blamed it on PCOS but sorry, had it for many years so nothing new there. I decided to come to this Centre as a last resort. Dr. Florence asked me to do extensive blood work, sure it was pricey $200. But hell i don't regret it! that's how i learned that i was vit D and Iron deficient, and all the other issues i have showed in that blood work that my idio...t GP could not see in 10 years. Dr Florence put me on collagen and all those crazy expensive supplements I was willing to pay for. (ZERO REGRETS) *** I had my hair regrow under 6 months, all of my hair is back! I went from sleeping every evening right after work, living with no energy to function to feeling like im 18 again. My overall health improved, still dealing with stomach issues and insulin resistance due to my own inability to quit the damn sugar :((( thats on me, 100% I am so frustrated with our health care system! how is it that all the specialists i have been seeing for years got me worse! And how is it that GP can't even run an extensive blood work , what the hell is this! Why useless metformin ( i do NOT have diabetes) got me worse and cost pennies when supplements that are helping me with my condition cost a fortune. .. here I am, learning everything about my health through a naturopath. I seriously worship the work they do and i wish that it was more valued.

I've met with all of the staff, doctors, and management of CfNM on numerous occasions. They are always professional, cheerful, and welcoming. They treat everyone with respect and truly listen to their clients. The location is easy to get to and makes you feel at ease to moment you walk in. I would suggest CfNM to anyone looking for a a naturopathy health solution in Winnipeg.

I have been a patient at the Centre for Natural Medicine since being diagnosed with an auto-immune disease over 5 years ago. The knowledge and experience of Dr. Schrader and the other doctors and staff at the clinic have helped me manage my symptoms and have allowed me to maintain my quality of life for which I am truly grateful.

My family has trusted naturopaths for decades, seeing them across Canada and the US. We have never had such a frustrating and disappointing experience as at this place. The staff are like car dealers. Aggressive, invasive, presumptuous. One named Deb is especially awful. The naturo had me pay $120 for an extra blood panel besides my GP's. She didn't say it would take as much blood as donating to the Red Cross. I was so faint, I couldn't drive. I also had my GP send his results to this clinic. Deb gave a big gasp and told me my results were so concerning, I must make an appointment ASAP. She confirmed they had received my GP's results, too. Well, it turned out they were the same results as I had of course already discussed with my GP---and which the naturo knew I was being treated for, long term. In what universe does a receptionist interpret a patient's test results, plus use them as a scare tactic so you'll spend more on another appointment? Not even a vet tech is permitted to do any of this in regards to your hamster! Deb also used my inability to pay $100 for one of many supplements, to tell the doctor I am a "non-compliant" patient. This label creates a bad feeling in doctors, as they think you are rejecting their advice. Pharma corporations have departments devoted to "coping with the non-compliant patient." It was simply a financial issue, and she shamed me for it. The doctor then wrote me a redundant essay on why I needed this supplement, which was further shaming. I am a disabled senior, and I surely do not need this extra stress. It was like a car dealer jacking prices with extra features, and trying to shame you because you can't afford them. After my first visit, the doctor neglected to write down the dose of one supplement. When I asked the receptionist to look into this, she instantly advised me to take the same dose she does! With that chattiness of "one girlfriend to another." Unethical and dangerous. Twice they billed me for services I did not book and did not receive. I tried Bowen therapy, which they said on the phone, fee schedule and on the website, was $70. They then billed $120, and claimed it was "treatment plus follow up." There was no follow up. There was no assessment either, as physical therapists normally do. He spent a few minutes confirming some notes Dr. Danner had made. Physical therapists usually test your gait, posture, flexion, etc. He did nothing like that. But his big nothing was worth $50 and their deceit. Dr. Schrader put me in awkward positions that hurt my existing injuries, and ran in and out of the room like a mouse. He'd do something he called "moves." He'd put two fingers on a body part then run away. It was weird. He got visibly irritated when I said I couldn't keep my arms in certain positions without pain. I was there to TREAT PAIN. I am not suggesting there was anything sexual about it, but women will understand that it was like when a man touches you in a way you don't enjoy, then insists you are enjoying it as you protest. It was ick. It was abusive. When I told staff Bowen therapy was ineffective, Deb got aggressive, telling me I had to book several treatments to feel the effects. And overbilled me $50. Why would I pay for several sessions, when I feel clear relief after each traditional session with my physiotherapist? Due to the blood test scare, I booked a second session with Dr. Danner. It was 30 minutes for $108. Again, confirmed over the phone, via email, and on the printed fee schedule. Afterwards, two receptionists made aggressive calls demanding I pay $136 for 45 mins. They said I had to pay for the doctor's time writing notes. When I told Danner about Deb falsely labeling me a "non-compliant patient," she promised me some free supplement samples. Those disappeared when I refused to pay for an extra 15 minutes I didn't book and didn't receive. I've gotten a few samples from doctors, and they keep them in their office cabinets. They immediately put them in there after the pharma reps visit. So it wasn't an, "Oh dear!" discovery at the front desk.

Very unaccommodating and more concerned about billing for visits rather than allowing to simply buy more herbs that were already recommended by a doctor there. We've already gone through the consult process and saw a doctor. Time came for more herbs but no because we exceed some arbitrary time frame between visits they want another visit out of us. My wife is very ill, immuno-compromised, and with COVID19 to top it all off you'd think these professionals would be more than understanding of these types of situations and more accommodating to their patients needs. Instead I was provided with excuses and no alternatives. Something so simple, purchasing more herbs, had to turn into this.

An MD recommended that I see Dr.Florence about an injury in that she felt Prolotherapy would be the best direction to take. Lucky me,Dr. Florence is an amazing doctor. Finally, relief from chronic pain. Dr.Florence has since become my Doctor and I would highly recommend her to anyone in need.

A few years ago I was left unsurpervised in the basement face down on the table with acupuncture needles all over my body-( lots of them not a few) for way past the time I was supposed to be ( so I was forgotten) and had to shout out over 1/2 a dozen times for help. There was no appology and I was charged for the treatment. It was a very traumatizing experience. I never heard back from the doctor nor the clinic. When paying at the desk no one talked about my experience they behaved like nothing happened. No stars here. Don't go to this clinic.
