“If you don’t value time, compassion, and ethical treatment then this is the place for you. I called for a check-up dental exam and was put on a 41-minute hold. When I was finally placed through the receptionist booked me for a full dental exam. Once there the dental assistant took my x-rays and when the dentist, Dr. Gabriel Constantin Iorgovan, came in he shared his dental life story, asked me about mine, and said he sees me “as family now.” Then without any cleaning or personalized treatment plan, the dentist, Dr. Iorgovan, said he wanted to rebook me for a second full exam for two days later to speak further and go over my x-rays because he wanted more time. I have never been to the dentist with such minimal effort in a so-called dental exam. When I asked him if he could provide any information on the state of my teeth he said that I had at least ten cavities, this was alarming since I had zero tooth pain to indicate that! This experience went from inadequate to shameful when I went to the receptionist to pay. I asked if they accepted insurance coverage through either the Canadian Dental Care Plan or the Non-Insured Health Benefits program. The response I got was nothing short of an attempt of degradation, especially when the receptionist went to confirm with their office manager, Rayanna, and said that their clinic didn’t work with those “those types.” I can only imagine how a person who may rely on those insurance programs could be made to feel disempowered as this Centre Dentaire Blanc attempts to take one’s dignity away. Fortunately for me I was able to use my private insurance to cover this insufficient dental exam by Dr. Iorgovan yet was shocked when they attempted to charge my insurance for a second full dental exam. In total, Dr. Iorgovan wanted to claim $402 for a dental exam where $252 went towards a simple conversation without any recommendations for the dental work I may need. The only thing I got out of this experience was an x-ray that I took to an ethical dentist who told me I did not have 10 cavities at all, only one or two teeth actually needed to be worked on. Would not recommend Centre Dentaire Blanc or Dr. Iorgovan to anybody that I care about.”Read moreShow less

“Incompetent scheduling staff. Rescheduled my 6-month cleaning 5 times in 4 months; I STILL HAVE YET TO RECEIVE A CLEANING. Always has an excuse like "Staff is in training", "Medical emergency", "Person who is supposed answer the phone is sick today", "Maternity leave", "Conference". If you don't want your teeth cleaned promptly, this is the right clinic for you. Even with 3 people behind that reception desk, they can't even answer the phone minutes to your appointment when you can't get access to the parking garage with a constantly changing PIN number. They won't email it to you either. You have to call (yet no one ever picks up). I feel bad for the dentists here. They are competent but their reception/admin gatekeepers clearly hate their jobs and don't like being employed.”Read moreShow less

“Dr. Gabriel Iorgovan is an amazing dentist! I recommend him with all my heart! I've never thought it was possible to get rid of mastication and occlusion problems. Any dentist should know how to correct such problems before moving forward with various treatments. If a dentist has not been trained to do this, then the patients could have much more health problems than the ones they came with. Correcting mastication and occlusion problems should definitely be taught throughout university courses. Dentistry is more than treating cavities or putting in implants. It's no use having beautiful teeth if I'm not able to chew, if all the muscles of my face hurt or I have cervical pain or my teeth are clenched. After more than 10 years of pain and no help whatsoever, I met Dr. Iorgovan and after a few months I can say that I eat without having pain and I wake up much more relaxed. “Had a great experience. I had several dental implants done and the procedure went smoothly and felt no pain during or after. The doctor works with high quality parts (Straumann) and offers the placement of the Implant without opening the gum!!! “I used to go here for years for my routine cleanings and was even referred to specialists by this clinic when I needed wisdom extractions. Dentists were nice. The place was clean. I stopped going because the receptionist (an older russian woman. I’m not sure if shes still there) was extremely rude, downright disrespectful and I couldn't continue going here when there are other much more professional clinics. “Everyone that I encountered here were very professional and welcoming. Doctor Rosita worked very carefully and meticulously, and I could tell that she cared a lot about the patients! (I was so relaxed that I was falling asleep during my root canal) It has been 10 days since the procedure and my tooth feels like brand new.
