“I was a client of dr Rioux. He is competent and a good chiro but the format of 10 mins per visit, felt cold. Wasn't there to chit chat anyways but to get relief from back problems. Had a good patch, took care of my back so no appointment needed for over 10 months. Went today for a much needed adjustment which he did. Went into the cabinet, he made me do movements, nothing much, bend down, arch backward, tilt left to right, made me sign a paper and he proceeded to the adjustment. When it was time to pay, I was told that I was charged 45$ for a re evaluation. Ya think they could have mentioned this tidbit before proceeding. It was basically "Surprise" at the cash register, instead of 68$, it was 113$. Sad but he lost 2 clients since I also went with my teen when he needed an adjustment. Not sure if it was an evident lack of communication but being told after the fact and not before left a very sour taste. He is a good chiro, he will fix you up but it was a 45$ surprise too much today. I should have been told up front that it was going to be an extra fee, not after the fact.”Read moreShow less

“Stepping in as a tourist visiting Montreal with a painful knee after a small accident Dr Rioux did magic in less than 24 hours. He worked on my knee and reduced the pain instantly. He is very friendly and gave me great advices . Thank you Dr Rioux !!!”

“Dr Rioux is excellent at what he does and really professional. I was in pain for over 2 weeks because of a pinched nerve impactinf my back, neck and shoulder. Limited sleep, continuous pain and no sign of improvement. After 1 single session, my situation improved by 75% and I was finally able to sleep pain free and feel good during the day. “Dr. Simon Pierre Roux did not explain financially the breakdown of the initial assessment and how the xrays and adjustment were a separate fee. I paid 220$ in good faith I would get help and instead Dr. Rioux forced an adjustment 2x when my back would not move. I was dizzy and felt intense pain for 6 days. Called the clinic the next day to ask if this was normal as I have never undergone a chiropractic treatment however, upon reporting my symptoms of pain, I asked Dr. Rioux why he did not explain the risks were this extreme when I signed the consent form. His response was that most people have positive results and he was not going to waste time on that. I asked what I could do to alleviate the pain, his suggestion was to wait 6 days, take pain killers and wait to see him the following week, not see another healthcare professional as he was done for the day (it was 12pm, but his hours of operation at the clinic are until 1pm). His suggestion to alleviate the pain was 65$ of inferential current treatment. It’s been a month since my adjustment and I have never experienced such back pain in my life. I have consulted another chiropractor who actually practiced informed consent and Dr. Rioux was not that.”Read moreShow less

“Very bad customer service coming from the lady at the counter (not the older lady, who is really welcoming). I called today at 1pm to cancel my next appointment for following day at 12:15pm. She made a whole case of her being gracious not to apply any fees. When I asked how she arrived to that conclusion, she was claiming that the next meeting was 12hours away! When I reminded her that a day is 24hours, she was asking me if I would like to argue my case, then she put me on hold for another 5mins to come back to tell me that she never claimed that she was telling me that I called 12hours away, that I was 23hours away. I really don't appreciate when people have no skill to do a simple arithmetic, then go on a tangent with all the arrogance, no apologies when they realized that they were mistaken.”Read moreShow less
