Disgusting the lack of caring that the ceo has for these individuals! Only cares about herself!

If I could give this organization 0 stars I would. I am writing this review to express my disappointment with the current state of operations at Central West Specialized Developmental Services. While I recognize that the organization plays an important role in the community, the ongoing strike has significantly affected the quality and consistency of care being provided. Communication with families and stakeholders has been limited, and updates about service disruptions have been delayed. This lack of transparency has made it difficult for those who rely on the organization to plan appropriately or feel confident that essential supports are being maintained. Additionally, the atmosphere surrounding the strike has created instability for both staff and clients. It’s evident that morale has declined, and the overall sense of professionalism that the organization was once known for seems to have suffered during this period. I sincerely hope that CWSDS can resolve its internal issues promptly and constructively. The individuals and families who depend on these services deserve reliability, transparency, and an environment where staff feel supported enough to deliver high-quality care. It is hard to recommend the organization with confidence.

I am writing this review out of genuine concern for the individuals and families who rely on CWSDS services. The ongoing strike has created a level of disruption that can no longer be overlooked. While I understand that labor disputes are complex and often unavoidable, the prolonged nature of this situation has had a serious impact on the consistency and quality of care that the individuals are receiving. Clients themselves are feeling the effects of the disruption as well. The environment has become noticeably strained, and it’s clear that the instability has affected the smooth delivery of essential programs and services. These individuals deserve continuity, reassurance, and a sense of safety—none of which can be guaranteed under the current circumstances. CWSDS needs to do better.

I’m leaving this review because I’m genuinely worried about the people who depend on CWSDS for support. The current strike has caused a level of chaos that can’t be ignored. I understand that labour issues happen, but the fact that this has dragged on for so long is having a real, negative effect on the care people are receiving. You can see the impact on the clients every day. The environment feels unsettled, routines are disrupted, and essential services just aren’t running the way they should. The individuals who rely on this agency deserve stability, proper continuity, and a safe, predictable environment and that simply isn’t happening right now. CWSDS needs to step up and address this.

Who do you think you are, management, to relocate residents from their homes without consent?

Chris Latiff · Google · 19 Nov 2025

I have serviced this facility at 53 Bond Street in Oakville for 34 years. The support workers there do the absolute most amazing job working with the community in need. The fact that this employer is fighting with the workers and only offering 1% is a discrace. Get those workers back to work and treat them as gold 🙏🏽

My son Peter has been in the STATE program for over 12 years now and the care he gets has far surpassed my very high expectations. I am so incredibly grateful to the amazing STATE staff and management who work tirelessly to give my son as high a quality of life as possible. I believe that my son is very well loved and cared for and I am eternally grateful to you all. Thank you!!!!!! I am hoping and praying that you all get the pay raise you truly deserve because as far as I'm concerned you are worth your weight in gold,

I have lived in the area close to this place for 15 years and had nothing but good experiences with the staff and residents. This has changed over the last six months. There’s a new man living there who screams extremely loud and bangs on the metal fence, making it echo throughout the whole area. This wouldn’t be a huge issue if it didn’t constantly happen between 4:30-6:30 in the morning, multiple times a week. The staff are not doing anything to try to calm him or stop him and if I’m being woken up, the senior’s building is being woken up and the apartments on Queen Mary are being woken up , I can’t imagine how disruptive it is for the other residents living there, especially at 4:30 on a Sunday morning. I understand this is not this individual’s fault, but the staff seem oblivious to the fact he’s disturbing the whole neighbourhood and are happy to just let him smash on metal for hours while everyone is trying to sleep.
