1 star for front desk 5 stars for massage therapist I had a great massage but the front desk ruined my experience. To the massage therapist, my apologies for not leaving a tip as you were amazing. The front desk lady needs training on customer service. My appointment was on June 21st at 3:45 p.m.

Simple layout and clean. Patrons are respectful and haven’t had any issues coming here. One of the few places that has a steam and super hot room. Online booking system could be improved when booking for more than one.

Very underwhelming experience. There’s no water buckets with ladles to control temperatures in dry sauna rooms? What kind of sauna is this. Also the eucalyptus aromatherapy in the steam room was so overpowering I felt like I was getting bear maced. The nail in the coffin for me, was no relaxing music in any of the spa areas except the common area where they playing weird lofi house. Spend your money well and go to clear Nordic spa.

I went in for a lymphatic drainage massage not knowing much about what it actually does for the body, Yasanith did an amazing job walking me through the process and the benefit's of it. It doesn’t feel like much at the time but my rings were falling off my hands the next day and it was a definite noticeable decrease in the inflammation all over my body especially my face. Very knowledgeable. All the staff at cedar and steam always make me feel welcome and accommodated

I really wanted to love this place, especially with the whole “social spa” concept, but it just didn’t land for me. I paid around $200 for a massage, and instead of relaxing, I spent most of the time listening to loud conversations and laughter from staff and other guests. I understand the “social” angle, but when you’re in a treatment room, there still needs to be a sense of calm. It completely took away from the experience. The spa itself was also pretty underwhelming. It felt more like a hallway with a couple of saunas than an actual spa. There were no proper lounge areas to relax in, no real change rooms, and the space felt crowded and a bit chaotic. The sink was dripping and seating options were basically a wooden bench and 2-3 tree stumps. My massage therapist was excellent, which I appreciated. My sister-in-law, however, had a completely different experience with a therapist who talked nonstop, so it seems inconsistent depending on who you get. For the price point, I expected a much more elevated and relaxing environment. The robe was nice… but unfortunately that was one of the only highlights. Also, had anyone asked how my experience was, I absolutely would have shared this feedback in person, but no one did. Overall, not the experience I was hoping for, and not somewhere I’d return for a “spa day.”

I usually love love love this place. Today, unfortunately my experience was ruined by 4 people who had no respect for others or the staff. I asked the staff the protocol for people talking (foul language, loud, obnoxious) in the steam room (which is my favourite place), he went in and handled the situation. When I went back in, they were still talking loudly so I left and told another staff member that these people were ruining my experience. She just looked at me like she felt sorry for me. I waited for about 20 min for them to exit the steam room. They came out and spent another 10-15 minutes talking loudly by the lockers. Having zero regard for others trying to enjoy their experience. I understand it won’t be completely quiet and that’s okay when 2 people are softly whispering. These 4 should have gone for brunch and then a spa day. Of course this is not the staffs fault. I wonder if more signs throughout are needed to remind people to Shhhhhhh! Or alternatively have 1 day a month strictly as a silent day, where people who want quiet space can book. It was very disappointing.

I tried to book a sauna and steam session for two people online, but the system doesn't allow for group reservations. I also tried calling several times to resolve the issue, but no one answered the phone. Looking at other reviews, it seems many people have faced this exact problem. It makes me wonder how much business is being lost due to these technical hurdles. I was disappointed with the experience and ended up booking somewhere else.

I had a massage by Nichapa, and she was amazing! I honestly could not recommend her more. She was very proffered and knew exactly what she was doing and gave the best massage I’ve ever had. The woman who works reception was also lovely, and we had a great chat while I drank my complimentary kombucha.

Didn’t expect the experience to be this great for this price! Everything was clean, the staff were friendly, and the saunas were amazing. I especially loved the steam room with the cold-plunge bucket. We’ll definitely be back and will recommend it to our friends!

Does not recommend

Booked 2 weeks ago for two massages at the same time, drive an hour to get there in rush hour traffic, to find out they didn't have us booked for massages. No offer to rebook no nothing.
