“The concussion clinic was wonderful to engage with right from the first call. I was looking for a better understanding of my post concussion syndrome symptoms and some ways to better support myself in my recovery journey. Ryan is absolutely amazing. He actively listened ro me, he provided knowledgeable answers to my questions/concerns and he completed a quick thorough assessment. In an hour I felt less frustration and anxiousness then I have had in months. Through this new understanding and empowerment in moving forward with my healing. “I had a great experience at CCK Clinic. Gerome Louie is an excellent physiotherapist — extremely thorough, knowledgeable, and truly attentive. He takes the time to understand your concerns, explains exactly what he’s doing and why it matters, and creates a treatment plan that actually works. He definitely knows what he’s doing, especially when it comes to helping people with concussion and traumatic brain injury recovery. I always felt confident and well cared-for in his hands. The front desk support from Dave, the MOA, is also fantastic. He’s friendly, helpful, and makes every appointment easy and stress-free. The entire clinic feels welcoming and professional, which makes a big difference when you’re dealing with something as serious as a concussion or TBI. “We are so lucky to have this place in Kelowna to give specialist treatment of concussions. I had 4 appointments with Ryan Niven over a 3 months period and it was so incredibly helpful. He validated I had a problem, helped craft a personal treatment plan while balancing life and work commitments, and monitored me on the journey. Never did I feel like he was reigning me in for more appointments that necessary. I have no doubt at all my recovery would have been a lot longer without his help. He got me back to 'me' and I'm very grateful for that.”
