“I had a very bad first time experience last week when trying to book an appointment for a massage. I submitted my information online to book an appointment and made note that I have a peanut and tree nut allergy like I do anytime I go for a massage elsewhere. I received a phone call later that day to give me a day and time for my upcoming appointment. After I confirmed that would work, the woman on the phone asked about my allergy that I had noted online. She then told me that her staff eat nuts in the office. I asked if there was a way that the staff member who would be giving me a massage could refrain from eating nuts within a few hours of my massage, and if they did eat any that day, to ask if they could brush their teeth and wash their hands before my appointment. The woman on the phone then told me should could not ask her staff to do that, and would not be able to accommodate my allergy, but still wanted to know if I would be going ahead with my appointment. In shock of what just happened, I said no and hung up the phone. I am leaving this review here because it was the first time I tried to book an appointment at CBS wellness, and I will never try again. I have never had anyone react the way she did and blatantly say that her staff could not be asked to not eat nuts. There was no discussion on products, or any alternatives to what could be done. The only thing that was said was she could not ask her staff to not eat nuts. This left me to feel completely in shock, and like I was the issue, and I truly felt push aside in regard to an allergy I have very little control over. I would not recommend CBS Wellness as the situation was not dealt with properly.”
