Avoid this place if you value your time. I went into CBI Health - Kanata Edgewater on a Saturday for an appointment to have a disability application completed. Instead of a clear answer, the lady who saw me said she didn't know if she could fill it out. She promised to check with a colleague and call me with an update on Monday or Tuesday. Monday and Tuesday came and went with no contact. By Thursday, after days of waiting, I had to call them myself to get an answer. Only then did they inform me that they don't even do disability applications. It is incredibly unprofessional to waste a patient's time making them drive out there, only to promise a follow-up call that they never intend to make. They should have known their own clinic's policies from the start. Complete lack of communication and respect for people's time.

I’ve had a great experience with my physiotherapist, Sherry. She is highly professional, knowledgeable, and has helped me feel significantly better throughout my treatment. I’ve been visiting this clinic for around two months, and the staff and overall service have consistently been excellent. Highly recommended.

I attended this clinic through a WSIB-related rehabilitation program. While some staff members were professional and polite, overall my experience was disappointing as a patient dealing with ongoing back and leg symptoms and functional limitations. Communication from management often felt heavily administrative and, at times, lacked the level of empathy and support I expected during a difficult stage of recovery. During certain treatment sessions, I did not feel that my reported pain levels and physical limitations were fully acknowledged or appropriately accommodated. Following parts of the rehabilitation process, my symptoms became more difficult to manage and I required additional medical assessment and follow-up care. As a result, continuing the program became challenging for me from a medical and functional standpoint. I believe patients attending workplace injury rehabilitation programs should feel supported, heard, and treated with professionalism and sensitivity throughout the process. I hope the clinic continues improving communication and patient-centered care for individuals dealing with chronic pain and functional impairment.

The care I have received at this place has been wonderful! I’ve had two work-related injuries, and they have always treated me with a smile and great dedication. Thank you to each and every person who works here.

When I started at CBI for my concussion I felt like I was 35% myself and by the time I graduated nearly a year later I felt like I was 80% like myself again. They truly helped me get my life back on the right track. I recommend going here for concussion recovery, their coordinated approach helped me in so many ways. A special thank you Arpita who didn’t give up on me or my spicy attitude at the beginning haha, to Jackie who helped me understand what was going on in my brain and we also talked about how concussions screw up your sex life, something many people in recovery and healthcare don’t talk about, to Jane who helped me gain more confidence in driving and being more assertive, giving me practical tools that continue to help me, and Sherry who was a huge help getting my balance back and a great physiotherapist. Ashley and Leigh Anne who supported my mental health when I was struggling and feeling isolated, you taught me a lot about myself and being present. Shmuti and Sophie who brought the heat packs, supported exercises when I would inevitably not do them right and the laughs. Favour - that place would not run without you woman, someone give her a raise :). Oh yeah and Daly! How could I forget about you, thank you for pushing me to see the importance of exercise, pacing myself and helping me get back to volleyball and making me laughs when laughing felt impossible some days. Also so glad they got rid of the bright aweful green walls!

All the staff are very kind. I hsd ACL reconstruction and Meniscus repair. Active in soccer and ringette. Smruti is my physio and she's very receptive and modifies all of my exercises depending on my limits. We are less than 5 months in and already working on active mobility drills and my custom knee brace. They are also in the process of renovating making the facility more modern and clean! I'd definitely recommend others come here for their recovery needs.

I really wanted to like this place, but the experience felt incredibly mechanical. The physiotherapist was talented but couldn't work more than 15 min on me. The actual hands-on time with the physiotherapist was very limited because of the structure of this clinic. After a quick assessment, I was handed off to a machine or an assistant to finish the session. It felt like an assembly line rather than actual therapy. It’s clear they are working for the insurance quotas rather than the patient’s recovery. I left feeling like I was just a file number, not a person. They need a better structure that focuses on genuine 1-on-1 care instead of rushing through patients and pleasing insurance.

I extend my sincere gratitude to the staff, physiotherapy assistants, physiotherapists, and Client Service Representatives for their exceptional service. This marks my second positive experience with CBI, and I wholeheartedly recommend their services. I trust that the moment the cold gel was applied to my back provided a moment of shared amusement. It was all in good spirits. I wish you all a productive and pleasant day.

I wanted to commend everyone at the clinic for being welcoming and encouraging. Thank you to Sandeep who was always so kind and ready to support. A special Thank you to Sherry for always meeting me where I was at and challenging me to take the next step when the time was right. You are incredibly knowledgeable, patient, kind, determined to help and your expertise truly shows. You’ve helped me build strength and endurance in my knee which will continue to allow me to build back my “regular life”. No words can explain justly my gratitude for everything. I highly recommend this clinic for concussion support and programming as well as other injuries.
