I started going to the Care Institute on Quellette Ave, a couple of months ago, and I am thankful I did. Dr. Jai Satish is very intelligent and understands your needs of therapy to get you back on par. The hydrotherapy is a must for exercise and pain relieve. I tried other therapy clinics and they did not compare to the treatments I received at the Care Institute. Thank you kindly, Jeanette Pillon

I’d be very happy to recommend Physiotherapist Alex Grant at the Huron Church location. I was attending physio with another organization here in Windsor, twice a week for seven months and made no progress on my hip injury. The first day I met with Alex he asked an insightful question about my pain that helped us both understand what was happening, A couple of months later the pain was finally gone. Alex was professional, friendly, and it felt like he really cared.

I definitely recommend The CARE Institute. I attended physio appointments at the Ouellette Ave Solaris location. I arrived as a walk in, they recognized my problem immediately and set to work “fixing” me. The staff were very friendly, professional and accommodating to my crazy work schedule over the following weeks. I feel 100% better. Thank you.

Originally, I was referred by my family physician to the CARE Institute, on Ouellette Avenue, for their hydrotherapy program. I was first evaluated by Chiropractor, Dr Jason Chapieski, who agreed the hydrotherapy may very well benefit my very painful and arthritic knee. Amanda, the assistant that carries out the pool program under the supervision of the Chiropractor and Physiotherapist, was awesome! Each time, she gently urging you to reach your optimal strength and flexibility. The water is kept at a therapeutic temperature and may seem warm, but there is science behind the carefully monitored temperature. It is also very, very clean. As a former lifeguard, I appreciate that aspect too. I returned for more hydrotherapy recently because of continued knee pain as I wait in the long line of patients for a knee replacement. Because of COVD rules, only three people are allowed in a pool that is set up for 12 people. The change rooms are clean and sanitized after each use. A disposable mask is provided for you. Up to one week prior to surgery (COVID rules), I was in the pool 2 x per week for about 4-5 weeks. Although the pain continued I did notice some improving flexibility. On March 30th I was able to have the total knee replacement done in Windsor. Two days later, at my first post op physio appointment close to my home, I was able to ditch the crutches and walker and just use a cane. By day 9 post op, I was able to freely walk around the house without the cane and steadily walk outside with it. This is absolutely amazing to me!! I truly believe that the preop hydrotherapy is what has helped to make this a speedy recovery. I actually KNOW this because I had my right knee done 6 years ago and it took about 2 months to make huge progress and three to be fully without a cane. Sarah, at the front desk at the Ouellette location, is always so pleasant and eager to help with insurance issues and questions. They were also reasonable for self pay after my benefits maxed out. It was so worth the money and time put into it. This group is highly recommended by this retired nurse!!
