I also was able to get an appointment very quickly and they are very flexible which works with my crazy schedule. If I have to go to the dentist I am at least happy it can be this one.”

“I had an excellent experience at Capital Dental Choice. The staff was friendly, professional, and made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in. The dentist Dr Emily took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I was at ease throughout the visit. The hygienist Boris was nice and gentle on cleaning my teeth with the braces on. He explained in details how to clean my teeth properly since I have the metal braces. The office is clean and well-organized. The receptionist Dakota greeted us once we stepped in and explained the dental charges in details for me. “I felt that the Dental Choice clinic didn’t have enough reviews, so I decided to write one. I think I called them outside of working hours, so I left a voicemail describing how one of my tooth fillings had fallen out and needed to be fixed. The next day, I received a message and a call from them to schedule an appointment. At the clinic, I was first greeted by an administrator, Ms. Ankie. She is delightful, welcoming, caring, and understanding. Ms. Ankie is what I would call a people person. I had a very pleasant interaction with her. She explained in detail everything about how my insurance works since I’m new to Canada. She also helped pick appointment times for my husband, who has a very tight schedule, and was very understanding of it. Next, I was introduced to Ms. Ritu. She was very pleasant and took all the necessary images needed for my check-up. Since it was my first visit, I needed quite a few images, but she managed to take them quickly. They still use protective lead vests during X-rays, which is rare nowadays. That was the first time I saw photogrammetry used in dental imaging. It was so cool. I couldn’t help myself and snagged a picture of the dental monitor with the results. Then, it was time for a cleaning. Ms. Grace did a great job on my teeth, paying extra attention to hard-to-reach surfaces, such as under my retainers. She was very gentle; I hardly felt a thing. Afterwards, she took the time to demonstrate how I can better clean the areas under my retainers. I really appreciate it. They use an ultrasonic scaler with water, if anyone was wondering, and also a manual scaler afterward for details. It’s not my favorite part of the cleaning, but Ms. Grace was very attentive, so it was bearable for me. Everything was at a slow pace, but in a good way. I never felt rushed. Everyone made me feel comfortable and welcome. I never felt any anxiety during the procedures. They made me aware of every step, so I wasn’t surprised. I had a separate appointment with Dr. Emily to get a couple of fillings done. I thought Dr. Emily was lovely and very professional. She managed to do five fillings in just one hour—what amazing speed! Before the procedures, she numbed my gums with cream and then injected them with anesthesia. After the application of the cream, the injection was hardly painful. The anesthesia was distributed precisely, so there was no need to add more. As far as I can tell, the quality of the fillings is good. I’m very pleased with the results. The interior of the clinic is somewhat modern. It was clean with no unpleasant smells. Also, to the best of my knowledge, everything was properly sterilized, which is very important to me. I don’t have a point of reference to compare prices, but I think they are average. I definitely recommend this clinic. I took some before-and-after pictures. Please don’t mind my receding gums.”
