“I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but this experience was disappointing. I booked two appointments because I knew summer schedules are busy. When I arrived for my first appointment, I waited 30 minutes while Calene’s mother and husband tried unsuccessfully to reach her. They were concerned because no one knew where she was, and I was asked to reschedule. I completely understand that emergencies happen, and I was genuinely worried something was wrong. What was disappointing was that I never received any follow-up, explanation, apology, or attempt to reschedule. I even reached out myself before my second appointment to confirm if it was still happening and never received a response. Three weeks passed with no communication, despite receiving automated appointment reminders. I understand that unexpected situations happen, but a simple message would have gone a long way. Being completely ignored and having my time wasted was very disappointing.”

“I've been going to Calene for a little over 2 months now and i've already seen such a difference in my nails. After having acrylics for 2 years my nails were in rough shape and she's managed to make them healthy and strong again. She takes her time and listens to exactly what you want and I always end up leaving happy. Her studio is so clean and cute and she has a wide variety of colours and is always staying on trend with nails. I would honestly recommend her to anyone and I'll never go back to my acrylics. She's amazing.”

“I had acrylic nails for as long as I can remember, once I got them taken off my nails were brittle and weak. Calene has managed to completely transform my nails in just 2 visits! They are already noticeably stronger and look amazing. She takes time to listen to what you want, find the perfect color/design and take great care of your natural nails. My nails last up to 4 weeks after a manicure with Calene! If you’re looking for a good quality manicure, you definitely should see Calene.”
