“I came into Butter (with what was left of my hair after a seriously horrific experience at another place in town) frantically seeking remedial help. The stylists at the front desk responded so compassionately and made me feel instantly taken care of. Ashley is an absolute angel. She got me into her schedule right away, warmly and confidently assessing the situation and explaining what she could do to help. Every step of the process I felt she was giving such care and attention, she's also very personable in a way that feels genuine. She seriously saved my hair and turned my whole day around. Even on a fully booked day, everyone took time to help save my long hair and made me feel so cared for the entire time. “This salon unfortunately is not ran great from my experiences. I booked a cut with Ava in September. She was the only one available and the lady who booked it said she wanted me to experience the full treatment. I was reluctant due to Ava being a new stylist but took a chance. Ava showed up ten minutes late. We talked about what I was looking for and she did not express much confidence. We added on a Demi color. She said it would sit for 15 minutes. She applied the product to my head while I was laying back in the wash sink. Ava left me there for an extended period of time, not a total of 15 minutes, with my neck cranked back. The cut went ok. Ava did seem inexperienced which a client who’s coming in for a hair cut would expect the hair stylist to be able to lead the appointment. Not the other way around. I tried to call the salon after my appointment to ask about the Demi color as the coverage was questionable. My calls were never returned. Butter carries hair products that I enjoy. The girls handling the front come off as very air headed and again inexperienced. Don’t love that I’m paying a good amount for shampoo and they can’t even print off a receipt. The girl said they were paperless but I’ve gotten receipts before… Butter comes off as supercilious. I’d highly recommend Jordan at Gloss! She’s amazing and knows how to apply Demi color so that your neck is not compromised, has good coverage, actually lasts up to the six week mark and is able to lead the appointment delivering what her clients are looking for.”Read moreShow less

“My favourite hair salon in Terrace been here twice. I have loved my results each time. Beck has done my hair each time. She was so great in getting my hair to what I wanted! The inside is so pretty with an upscale modern vibe! Can’t wait to go back!”
