“Wow! What a fabulous experience with Melissa! She listened to my concerns and created the most beautiful brows I have ever had. I had my brows microbladed about 8 years ago and they looked awful. “I recently had nano brows done by Sharon and I couldn't be happier with the results. Sharon was very patient with application in a problem area, but persisted in achieving the best result. “4 years ago I went to Brow Beauty for microblading . Melissa took time to map my brow. She continuously consulted with me if I was satisfied with what she outlined. “Update: I went back for a touch up after my original review, and I ended up leaving with a different shape that really did not work for me. Ive now just finished my second session of saline removal and will likely need at least one more (laser wasn't an option due to yellow ink in the brown pigment used). I will say, Melissa was super helpful in offering support, suggestions, and referrals when I needed help regarding removal. She was professional and kind, which was so appreciated in an uncomfortable situation. Original: Melissa's microblading and lamination turned out super pretty. “I originally booked with Melissa, but when I arrived I was unexpectedly switched to Lillian. I tried to stay open-minded and trust the process, but unfortunately I left extremely disappointed with the results. Right away, I was surprised to learn that she does not wax and instead only shaves and plucks. She also did not use the typical string method for brow mapping and symmetry. I decided to trust her technique, but throughout the appointment I repeatedly expressed hesitation about how much hair was being removed, especially from the underside of my brows. She reassured me multiple times that the hairs “did nothing for my shape” and said she would only remove a small amount to show me what she meant. However, she proceeded to remove far more than I was comfortable with, including hairs I specifically hesitated about. There was also very little consultation throughout the shaping process. Instead of fully mapping the brows beforehand, she briefly used a brow pencil to mark a few points and only showed me one side before continuing. My natural brows had a soft arch and fuller shape, but the final result significantly flattened my arches and changed my natural brow structure. My brows now look much straighter and thinner than what I asked for. She also over-plucked certain areas while still leaving multiple stray hairs above, beneath, and between the brows that I’ll now need to clean up myself. I specifically asked for a clean, natural version of my existing brows, not a full reshape. I even explained that I previously had a bad experience elsewhere involving over-removal and had spent a long time growing my brows back out. Unfortunately, I feel like my concerns and hesitation during the appointment were not properly listened to or respected. I understand brow laminations settle over time, but my concern is mainly with the shaping itself. Overall, I’m really disappointed with both the communication and the outcome of this appointment. It was also frustrating that the business does not appear to have a phone number listed and was difficult to reach outside of appointment-related communication.”Read moreShow less
