“Dealing with BCIT as a student is exhausting. Their website is one of the worst-designed platforms I’ve ever used for an educational institution. Trying to book assessment exams or find key information is incredibly frustrating, nothing is intuitive. Pages are buried, outdated, and often just redirect you to how to pay for things without clearly explaining what you're paying for or how to proceed. And don't even get me started on their login system. It's clunky, dated, and feels like it was built in the 1980s and never updated. It’s not user-friendly in the slightest, especially for new students. You’d expect a tech institute to at least have a modern web experience, but nope, it's all just poorly structured and confusing. Need help? Good luck. Phone calls go unanswered, voicemails get ignored, and you're left to figure things out on your own. For a school that charges a premium and claims to be a leader in applied education, the student experience, especially online is just not acceptable.”Read moreShow less

“Low quality teaching, money hungry, work overload, scam school as courses and diplomas from this school don’t transfer anywhere else. Please stay away from this school and go anywhere else to a real university.”

“Having graduated from BCIT Building Technology in 1979 and obtained further certifications as a Project Manager, and Engineering Technologists, it was disappointing to take courses on line. The quality of Technical Support and Class broadcast was less than poor. If someone cared it would have helped, but neither the instructors nor Tech Department did anything but make meaningless promises. In conclusion the BC Building Code course instructor is dishonest, misleading, and on a power trip - professional doesn't enter into the equation.”Read moreShow less
