An experience that hooked me! I honestly didn't know what to expect as I am somewhat indifferent to spa treatments. We choose the water cycle and it was incredible! First off, the ambiance created is one of serenity and beauty. We began our experience with a guided sauna experience which was super helpful in guiding us through the whole cycle and set us up for success on our own. We choose to do three cycles in our two hour period, one in each of the areas. Each hot and cold became easier as we did it. The relaxation stations are incredible, my only recommendation is to bring a book if you are a reader. We need the evening off watching the sunset from the hot tub. Also book the 6:40 pm spot for a 2 hour spot, as you get to stay until the close which is actually a 3 hour spot. I would do this 1000% again.

Such a fun place to visit especially for a special occasion. We love a sauna steam ice bath hot tub moment on a boat with a view. Staff are alternately snobbish and incredibly kind and helpful. Depends who you get. I had a salt massage and my massage therapist was amazing.

It was my first time with Bota Bita. The Uber driver recommended for this and I wanted to come here them I came. It was great experience. You need to bring a flip flap and a swim suit. You can have a bath robe and a towel and a locker. The water circuit was great. Steam and jacuzzi, then had a massage. Mavres was excellent

Beautiful spa to relax after a lot of walking around Montreal! We paid for 3 hours of the water circuit which was plenty of time. There are dry saunas, steam rooms, cold plunges, hot tubs, and pools. Make sure to bring your own sandals and water bottle. I really appreciated that the women’s locker rooms had shampoo and conditioner, makeup remover, hair dryers, and mirrors for getting ready post-spa.

I’ve been to Bota Bota at least five times, and one thing I can say is that the experience has remained very consistent from my first visit onward. 5/5 Outdoor Areas, Saunas & Pools 1/5 locker & shower Rooms 2–3/5 Staff & Customer Service The location and views of Old Montreal are beautiful, and the facility is large, spacious, and relaxing. The outdoor thermal circuit, pools, and saunas are excellent and are the main reason I keep coming back. My only complaint in this area would be the frequent lack of cups at the water stations. The bathrooms and locker rooms feel far from luxurious. The changing rooms resemble a high school locker room, the shower area has visible rust and old cobwebs ( see video). The amenities are bare minimum basic. This is also the first spa I’ve visited that doesn’t provide slippers unless you purchase them separately for about $36. Another recurring issue is overcrowding in the locker area. Every visit, I’m assigned to a packed section while other locker areas appear largely empty. There is no bag provided for your wet bathing suit plus you’re showered and changed, you’re expected to carry your wet towels and robe up the stairs to deposit it in a shoot. Customer service has been inconsistent. Some staff members, especially at check-in, have been friendly and welcoming, while others have been noticeably rude. During my last visit, a staff member rolled their eyes when I asked for a replacement towel after mine had been taken. I had a similar experience the same day at the restaurant when I simply asked for a napkin. For $75, the outdoor experience is excellent, but the lack of attention to detail in the locker rooms, amenities, and customer service makes it difficult to justify the premium price.

Worth every penny! I booked the Drift package for my boyfriend & I to celebrate our anniversary & had a fantastic experience! Our relaxation was optimized with the various approaches to the thermal circuit, as well as 1hr Swedish massages in a shared cabin. After 4hrs, we did not want to leave! We will be back & will be recommending!

Everyone loves a good spa day.. but how about a spa day on a boat? Yep.. head to Bota Bota! They are known for their water circuit and spa treatments, and the location and views are beautiful. The water circuit consists of a three step process that will promote relaxation and wellness. First, begin with either a hot sauna or steam bath, this helps improve circulation and promote detoxification. Next you transition to a cold plunge, to help boost some of those good endorphins and reduce inflammation. Next you want to relax. They have a bunch of areas to chill out and lounge around. The resting is important as it helps your body stabilize. Once you’ve rested, repeat! Or if you’re like us.. go back to your favorite spots. After a couple cycles, we had appointments for some spa treatments. I got lymphatic drainage, which was SO relaxing, and Caleb got a deep tissue massage. This was the perfect add on! The one recommendation I do have, is before having a spa treatment, go change out of your wet bathing suit and into something dry. Putting on a wet cold bathing suit after a relaxing massage was… unpleasant. My own fault! Bring a book and sit on the decks to soak up the sun and enjoy your relaxation steps. The facility is well maintained and clean, and the changing rooms are great. We truly enjoyed this experience and it was such a unique thing to do in Montreal. They also have a selection of bathing suits in case you decide last minute to add this on to your itinerary. Highly recommend! Lentz_explore

I wish our stay had lasted longer! Enjoyed the massage and the water circuit experience big time. Do check out their sauna ceremonies which happen at full hours and one needs to register (for free) for. The restaurant food was quite a surprise in how tasty it was!

Had a fantastic time at bota bota. The staff were super friendly and check-in was smooth. I also met Gabriel whose performance at the dry sauna made it even more magical plus the breathtaking views! Some guests need to be educated that they can't be dripping water coming from the cold plunge to the dry sauna without drying themselves first but besides that my experience was amazing. Will definitely come back! Very relaxing!
