I completed the level 1 mat teacher training and was extremely impressed by the high level of professionalism and comprehensiveness of the program content and Instructors. I also participated in the Pilates classes at the studios. I highly recommend the Body Harmonics studio for teacher training and for Pilates classes. The instructors are helpful, attentive, knowledgeable and they care about the success of students. Thank you Body Harmonics!

I’ve just begun my Mat Pilates 1 training with Body Harmonics, and I’m already incredibly impressed after the first weekend. I’m training in person with Margot McKinnon and have nothing but positive feedback. Her depth of experience and knowledge in the field is exceptional, the material is clear and engaging, and I’m truly grateful for the opportunity to learn from one of the best in the country. Victoria Goncharenko taught us our Anatomy for Motion class and she is another gem to learn from! 10/10 instructors.

Not as good as they used to be. Some instructors are great and some don't feel like a workout at all or like they have anything to do with the class descriptions. When people try to give them feedback on ClassPass they write weird defensive comments instead of taking it in. It used to be so much better.

Only the highest commendations for this studio. Integrity in everything they do. Conscientious & highly trained instructors with attention to detail to insure postures are done properly. I recommend this studio & this practice for health.

Body Harmonics is the biggest, best, and brightest studio in the city—arguably in the country, and maybe even across North America. Each studio is beautifully outfitted and carefully maintained. The instructors are highly trained, deeply supported, and consistently deliver the Body Harmonics curriculum with clarity, care, and world-class professionalism.

I very rarely, if ever, write reviews. However, this experience is worth it. I think there are several pilates studios in Toronto from which to choose. What is most important is the connection you make with your instructor and her knowledge around customizing the program. After that, it is about the respect and treatment one gets from the studio staff followed by class availability, studio cleanliness, and quality of equipment. My experience is 10 out of 10 on all measures.

This is a long running Pilates studio with a variety of levels for reformer and mat classes. There’s a limited number of classes so they tend of fill up quick. They seem to be focused on daytime classes and tend to only have 1 evening mat and Pilates class each. There’s a few issues that I found here and not as consistent with other studios. They allow students to be barefoot which is a bit gross. The clean up after the class is done with used rags which seems unsanitary. I know using disposable wipes creates a lot of waste however dirty rags don’t clean the equipment. In all the few classes I took, the instructors didn’t provide any cues to any students. Small adjustments can make a big impact in Pilates so I was disappointed that they didn’t offer me any corrections or confirmations that the movements were correct.

I have been a Body Harmonics client for 15 years taking both in-studio and, since the pandemic, exclusively online classes as well several Continuing Education Courses, the latter purely for interest sake. Now in my 60s I value BH's focus on balance, joint stability and mobility, and maintaining muscle mass. There is a class and an instructor for everybody and every body, no matter what the specific concern might be. Private sessions are available, and after incurring a recent injury I am fortunate to be currently working with Margot McKinnon, the founder, one-on-one to restore full mobility. Margot's profound kinetic knowledge of human anatomy and keen observation ability enable her to develop a personalized exercise program via a 30 minute zoom session. It's magic! She's magic!! After just two sessions I have improved my walking ability by about 75%. Couldn't be more surprised or happier. Thank you, Margot! Before this review turns into a TL;DR (as the kids would say) candidate just one more thing: the online PRO membership is a fantastic enabler towards a mobile and strong body at any age. I'm hooked! Thank you.

Came here for my first reformer class and was a good experience. Studio is spacious with lots of sunlight in the morning. Offer a wide variety or floor and reformer pilates and sell pilates socks etc. The one thing is that it’s a bit tricky to find and the elevators are very slow I’d suggest taking the stairs up to the 4th floor. They are on class pass. I’ll be back.

Very clean environment. The reformer Pilates machines are great. I took a core reformer class with Gordana and she was very helpful and would help correct your form to ensure you are doing the workout correctly. Recommend this class for beginners. Small class sizes and very spacious.
