“A good choice for a new small business, but functionality soon starts wearing a little thin as your business begins to scale. Almost zero development of new features. No dev blog or feature roadmap, or at least not that I've seen. Zero engagement with users about features and improvements. Requests for new features go nowhere. UI/UX is old and very clunky in places. Hopelessly outperformed by other companies providing the same service. “I'm on the fence about recommend or not - I'd recommend on the basis of what it generally does but the UI is so cumbersome and the number of confused emails I get from customers about the same issues over and over again are such a waste of time and energy that it's almost not worth using anymore. The fact that there's a difference between a customer subscription and customer "account" and the lack of intuitive flow in order to create passwords and actually, well... schedule anything except along some kind of narrow logic that maybe a robot could use, having customers "look up codes" instead of just letting them make a password so they can sign in and schedule... it's exhausting and I recommend looking for anything else.”Read moreShow less

“HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. They take DAYS to get back to you via email. There is no direct number. Honestly I don’t think they want to be bothered with our issues at all. “I have had nothing but problems since signing up in 2019. Issues with their software and Square credit card processing. I have purchased additional Square equipment and it will work together fine for a few transactions, then problems again. I have used their beta testing app to get past some of the problems and no issues for 4 months. Then BAM, Acuity’s software does not want to work with my contact list chip reader now. This has been an issue for the past 5-6 months or so and I keep being told that I need to wait for them to push out an update. They haven’t pushed out an update in almost a year and I continue to wait not being able to use the contactless chip card to take payments in my business. It has hurt my business, embarrasses me at payment time and yet I keep being told that they do not know when an update will be pushed out. Do NOT recommend!!!”Read moreShow less
