“Getting laser eye surgery at Bochner was the best decision I could have ever made for my eyes! The staff and doctors were all incredible before, during and after the procedure and being able to see crystal clear every day is the gift that keeps on giving! “I am very grateful to the Bochner Institute for my LASIK monovision procedure. Dr Raymond Stein, Peter Schilling and all the staff were v professional, skilled and responsive in clarifying my questions. I am amazed at how good my near and distance vision are with LASIK after so many years of struggling with contacts and prescription glasses. So wish I had done this sooner! “There is a reason that Bochner is the official laser eye clinic for the Jays and preferred clinic for the Leafs - the entire Bochner team is outstanding and professional!! I had lasik eye surgery 7 years ago and recently went back for a touch up (my vision did not regress significantly but for an active individual playing various sports - I wanted that extra clarity). From the first procedure to the touch up procedures 7 years later, it was a great confirmation that I chose the right clinic in how Bochner handled my file. Initial assessment 7 years ago was simple, informative and I did not feel any pressure from the team. The Bochner warranty is exactly as described; it was a super easy process to call the clinic, ask for a touch up and get an optometrist’s assessment report sent to the clinic for evaluation. I really appreciated the excellent customer service from the entire Bochner team. Most places ask for a Google review but Bochner does not - they let their service speak for their brand. “Today marks 3 months to the day I got LASIK eye surgery at Bochner Eye Institute. I cannot speak highly enough about my experience with them and how the results have impacted my day-to-day life. The surgery itself was quick (~10 mins) and painless. 20/20 vision less than 24hrs post-op and 20/15 after a week. Ill never forget walking into my living room two mornings after surgery and being able to clearly read the book titles across the room and the license plates across the street. In terms of recovery, only slight discomfort was felt a few hours after surgery (went away with the numbing drops) and sensitivity to light went away after a few days. Personally, I only experienced slightly dry eyes for maybe about a month, specifically in the mornings after waking up. I am now only using the lubricating drops once in a blue moon as I feel the need. The red markings around my eye went away after about a month. I resumed my full active lifestyle (running, swimming, weight lifting, snowboarding, etc.) after about 3 weeks, with the only exception being playing basketball which I did not resume playing until ~5-6 weeks afterwards. Overall, the recovery process went even better than I expected. I would recommend LASIK, and more specifically, Bochner, to anyone considering the surgery.
